"The apartment itself was great, but it is located directly above a restaurant with a banquet area… and there was a party with loud music that was highly audible throughout the evening until the early morning. Aside from the noise/location issues, the apartment was great."

"More of a basic cabin than anything. No dishwasher or TV, but great place to view auroras and surrounding scenery a few km from Hofn. Beds comfortable but needs some more (or bigger) pillows."

I've been answering WRONG for past few questions!! I did NOT realize this was hotel in Hofn?? The room was ok, the hot tub was luke warm BUT WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T GET THE DINNER BUFFET!!!!! YUCK!!!! AND IT WAS $50 USD!!!! HORRIBLE SELECTION OF FOOD

Nice town, several dining choices. It was pouring rain and we were tired, so we missed out on exploring the things Hofn had to offer. Not far to the West is the glacier-studded black beach, which was spectacular.
