"We really loved our stay here. The check in and check out were smooth. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. The free mini-bar was a nice surprise :) I had a work call during our stay, and the wifi worked wonderully throughout the meeting. Would have loved to stay longer than just one night!"

"This is obviously not a place to stay low season. Reception closed after 5 pm so had to check in at the restaurant across the road, cleaning staff were ill so nobody cleaned our room( and no apology for it or compensation), and as little guest staying place was very dark, fire places not lit - felt like we were alone at the whole place. Shame as it is a beautiful venue. "

"Rezeption ist mit überaus freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Mitarbeitern besetzt. Leider sind die Betten viel zu hart und es gibt keine gute Möglichkeit, daran etwas zu ändern. Hinweis gegeben, dass es sinnvoll wäre, für rückenkranke Kunden geeignete Topper vorzuhalten. Es gab Auflagen mit Daunen, die aber nicht allergikergeeignet und auch nicht effizient genug waren. Ansonsten waren wir sehr zufrieden. "

"Wauw! Many reviews are describing a worn down and old hotel. Well - old is true. And worn down is semi true on a few things like the windows and carpets. BUT! Travelling more than 100 days a year, I have rearly visited a hotel with this amount of charme! They truly keep this in the 60’s style. It is amazing - like a small German time machine going back to those times. And the staff were all very friendly and helpfull. Ofcourse it is old! It’s from the 60’s.. "This is a typical German guest house. It is family run. The desk is only open until 8 pm but check in can be arranged later if you make arrangements. It is an older property that has not been updated. That being said, the WI-FI was great. I did not see an elevator. A BIG bonus is free on site parking. It is slightly outside of town but close enough to walk. If you want an affordable, comfortable stay in this wonderful town, I would recommend it."

"Hosts are generous and kind. Location for nature-lover is excellent, being in the middle of countryside. Once renovation of some guest rooms is completed, it would be an excellent place for a small group as well. You can enjoy huge backyard and streatched field with horses."
