"Rooms were cleaned everyday during our week stay and they would change sheets upon request. Breakfast had a good variety and staff did a good job insuring sufficient items were out no matter the time in the morning. Comfortable place to stay. The front staff were always very friendly and helpful. Special thank you to Blair for all her help. "

"We had a terrific time and the house was very nice. We loved the suspended canoe in the great room.We all enjoyed the fire pit and the dock came in handy for our rental pontoon boat.We left suggestions for improvements of:- A second refrigerator is necessary for a house this size.This refrigerator could be put in the laundry room.The ice maker didn't work.- The ovens smoked badly and we couldn't even use one.- Also the lack of garage or use of a pantry was limiting.- The lighting in the bunk bedrooms was horrible.We were unable to read, unpack and pack.- The queen size beds in the bunk rooms were not functional for two adults because you could only get out of the beds on one side."

"We had a very relaxing and comfortable stay. The views are beautiful and the location is quiet and yet not a secluded feeling. Comfortable furniture and bed along with a very nice bathroom and shower downstairs. The home was well equipped and extremely clean and relaxing. Great communication with Mike."

"The lodge was absolutely stunning, everyone loved their sleeping accommodations. We loved all the attention to detail that the lodge had from the hosts including all the kitchen utensils down to the little water cans on the bunk beds and the luxury bathrobe and linens in the master bath. The accessibility to the kayaks and canoes we also do much fun! We literally had the best weekend ever here! The hosts were absolutely incredible with communication throughout our stay. Absolutely 10/10 experience, my family will definitely be back! "

"If you need space for alot of guests, this property is ideal. Not only inside, but beautiful grounds, garage, well equipped fire pits, boathouse with many toys, large dock for boats/pontoon.Clear water for swimming, and easy walk from house to beautiful Big Portage lake.My favorite place was the catwalk to a private space over looking the lake. So peaceful.The home is a work of art. Many of the owners personal treasures you'll most likely will never see again. There's a boardroom, ice cream room, bar room, huge beautiful living room and Professional Kitchen!,besides 7 bedrooms. A focal point is The Gazebo for Wine Time! Just beautiful. Your property managers Lynne & Gary are professionals and it shows as they walk you through the property.We will return for Sled Races and already booked for 2026 Fall. Thank you "
