"A one night stay on a roadie down the West Coast heading for the snow. We have stayed here before and frankly, wouldn't consider anywhere else. This time we had a miner's cottage (free upgrade!), it was warm and quirky which we love. Ate in the bar, a real kiwi pub experience and friendly locals. The area is very interesting"

"The owners have created a fantastic product with the Fire Station and provided a great base for our activities around Hokitika incl bike riding and trips to the Glaciers, Hok Gorge and Lake Kaniere. The accomodation is in easy walking distance of everything incl the beach, very well maintained with great support staff who we met. "
