"The cottage has everything a family needs but the communications around check-in was very poor and hotels.com's customer service was unwilling to provide any assistance. I would have thought some level of quality control helped justify hotels.com's commission. Either way, the cottage is managed by the building next door and this is where you need to go to collect the key. "

"先月オープンしたばかりという事もあり、部屋はとても綺麗だった。アメニティはタオルやコップ、使い捨てながらシャンプー等も含めて一通り揃っているのも良し。部屋はシャワーのみだが山代温泉総湯の入浴券も貰えるので温泉も楽しめる。
時勢柄、熊には注意と説明され、渡された鍵には熊除けの鈴も付いていた。コテージへの道路脇には猪の足跡も見られたが、これは場所柄仕方なし。
コテージが遊歩道沿いにある為、明るい内は他の一般客が結構コテージを覗きに来るのは何か対策が欲しい所。逆に夜は静かに過ごせる。
個人的にはとても気に入った。機あらばまた宿泊したい。"

"Stay was amazing ! Mr Fukushima was so kind - he helped us with discounted lift tickets, picked us up from the train station and took us grocery shopping. Location was right at the Iwatake gondola. Please note the unit is in traditional Japanese style - sleeping on the floor with Japanese pillows (very different to western pillows). Highly recommend !"

"Wonderful stay. Staff was amazing, they helped transport our ski bags, they picked us up from the Hakuba train station and at the end of our stay dropped us off again. Highly recommend and would stay again. "
