Beautiful cabin on the lake

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! Our family of five had plenty of space and enjoyed the kayaks, canoe, game room and well appointed kitchen throughout our stay. Fishing gear was provided and my son and I fished our hearts out! The beds were incredibly comfortable and we put the washer and dryer to good use. Communicating with the owner was easy peasy. Everything was as it appears on the listing, but the views of the lake are even more beautiful than the pictures can show! Thank you for letting us stay, we loved our first adventure to Maine!

We had an amazing vacation at this beautiful home! The setting on Phillips Lake was exquisite and we enjoyed using the kayaks provided by the host. The cabin was well-stocked and well-maintained - absolutely one of the best places we have ever stayed in. Highly recommend!

Beautiful cabin on the lake

Wonderful cabin on a beautiful lake ~45 min from Acadia National Park/Bar Harbor. We stayed here with our 3 young children and the hosts were excellent. We can confidently say this is the cleanest VRBO we’ve ever encountered, and their communication combined with the ease of check-in/out made it an incredible experience. The lake was an added bonus, and we were able to swim/kayak/canoe with ease. If you’re traveling to Acadia you should absolutely book this property.

Beautiful home on phillips lake

Loved our stay in this beautiful home. Was pleasantly surprised. Host Mike was awesome. Very attentive and responded quickly to our emails. This property was well equipped. We needed nothing. Location on phillips lake was a plus. It is only a 45 minute ride to Bar Harbor and Acadia national park.. we are hoping to come back in the summer

One week is not enough! Beautiful location!

Upon arrival we were absolutely blown away at first impression of property and the interior of the house was amazing! The host had arrival gifts placed on kitchen counter. Felt at home right away after a long travel. Simply beautiful location..clarity of the lake was amazing. The water was a little chilly in June for snorkeling for this old dude, but fishing and canoeing around the lake was awesome! The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked. Thank you Mike for your hospitality!! We would love to come again and spend more time.

Enjoyable vacation on a lovely Maine lake

Had a lovely stay at this lakeside cabin. Views of the lake were fantastic, particularly seeing the cotton-candy colored sunsets. The cabin is very clean, well stocked (fully stocked kitchen, many options for entertainment for all ages, lots of clean linens and towels) and well situated near Ellsworth and Bangor. We were able to enjoy a number of delicious family meals, and even got fresh steamed lobster from a location that the owner recommended. The fire pit was fun to use while we were there, and there are kayaks to take out and enjoy on the lake. The owner was particularly attentive when we told him we were traveling with infant twins. He was able to secure some toys and port-a-cribs for us to use, so we didn’t have to travel with so much stuff (as traveling with infants is already a lot!) Would highly recommend this cabin, and would absolutely consider another stay here in the future.

Wonderful!!!

My family and I just enjoyed a beautiful 8 day stay at this property and it is wonderful! The cabin is clean and has a great open floor plan downstairs that provides beautiful views of the lake and trees. Inside is everything you could want or need to prepare great meals, relax by the fireplace and watch anything you can think of on tv. Movies, video games, books, board games - it’s all there with great variety! Outside is beautifully kept with flower beds, a firepit area that was so fun for chatting, reminiscing and making smores. We took the canoe and kayaks out on the lake and it was pure relaxation. The lake is crystal clear - my husband caught fish off the shoreline (sm mouth bass) and he and I even took an unintended dip in the lake (very refreshing LOL) Walks in the morning are quiet and invigorating. The property is a perfect location. You get the natural feel of being in the woods in Maine - but a 15 min drive and you hit stores, restaurants, etc. We got live lobster from Jones Lobster Co that were delicious! As we were leaving we stopped at the Eagle’s Nest restaurant in Brewer on our way to the airport and the lobster rolls are out of this world! Huge, fresh and perfectly made. Definitely a ‘must do’! Mike and Sue were the best hosts! Very accommodating and helpful - we’ve been renting through VRBO for many years and I would have to say Mike is top notch! We will definitely be returning and look forward to our next Maine adventure. Thank you so much Mike and Sue for the amazing hospitality and for sharing your home with us. Just a great experience from start to finish - and truly gives the Maine experience!!

We really enjoyed the Cozy Log Cabin and we especially enjoyed beautiful Phillips Lake! We highly recommend it. The only downside to the location in relation to MDI, Acadia National Park, and Schoodic Peninsula is the heavy traffic and slow drive-time to and from these destinations; especially through Ellsworth, etc. Although the distances are not great, it took us longer than we anticipated and the time spent driving did cut into our plans a bit. If your main destination is MDI / Acadia National Park, I'd recommend staying a bit closer to MDI. But if your main goal is to relax and enjoy a beautiful inland Maine lake and a comfortable and well-stocked cabin, this location is ideal!

We loved our stay at the log cabin. This was home base for us for a week of activities in and around Acadia. It was the perfect retreat after long days of hiking and sightseeing. The log cabin was spotless and the welcome goodies upon arrival were much appreciated. The beds were very comfy and having the two full bathrooms kept the five of us on schedule for early morning departures for our adventures. We were about a 50-55 minute drive from the entrance to Acadia. Unfortunately, the bugs were very active given the time of year so we were not able to take advantage of any water activities on Lake Phillips. We would highly recommend the Cozy Log Cabin if visiting the Bar Harbor/Acadia area.

Splendid!!

This cabin is the best home rental we have stayed in! They have everything to enjoy the lake and your stay in their beautiful lakeside cabin. Touches of home everywhere including the beautifully landscaped yard. I can’t say enough good things about this special property we enjoyed so much. A close drive to Maine attractions in every direction. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat from “the real world”. Absolutely splendid!

Peaceful and relaxing

From the moment we walked in we could tell the cabin was incredibly clean and well appointed, no details unnoticed. Everything was well stocked and the kids really loved the gaming systems! The outside spaces gave everyone a spot to relax and rest while soaking in the birds and nature. Very quiet neighborhood and peaceful. The welcome goodies were deeply enjoyed by everyone and we even went and bought some additional ones to take home! The entire experience exceeded our expectations and was very relaxing and comfortable. We’d love to come back again Seriously the best VRBO we’ve ever had. Don’t hesitate to book a stay here!

Wonderful house and perfect location

Such a lovely, well appointed house with everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing week at the lake. The views from the house are gorgeous, the lake is beautiful, and Mike was a very gracious host. Communication was excellent, and the welcome-gifts were so thoughtful. The house is conveniently located for day trips to Acadia or Bar Harbor. We couldn’t have asked for more. Hope to be back!

Beautiful Lakeview property!

This was our first family trip to Maine, including my husband and I and our 20 year old son. The property was clean, comfy, and had a beautiful view of the lake. In addition to enjoying the lake with kayaks and a paddle board, we visited Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park and Camden. The house was central to both locations. The welcome snacks were much appreciated and our host was excellent 😊

Nothing short of Perfection

Our family of five stayed here over the week of the Fourth of July. I don’t know that there are enough positive adjectives to adequately describe our stay here. When I say they thought of everything, I am not exaggerating. From tissues and foil and spices to beach towels and kayaks and bug spray. This house is fully loaded with anything you thought you needed and things you didn’t know you did. Mike is the most gracious host. When we arrived, there was a welcome basket full of Maine goodies and a detailed guide of local places to eat and visit. He responds to every message promptly and is willing to help out in any way. This place is gorgeous. The sunsets from the deck by the water were breathtaking We enjoyed kayaking around the lake and finding coves and cliffs to explore. There really is no need to leave the house but we wanted to explore Acadia which was less than hour from the house. PERFECT location!! I have NO doubt we will back. Best family vacation we have ever had!!

Perfect sunset views!

Beautiful lake view and cozy cabin. Had everything we needed. Loved using the kayaks and fire pit when we returned from being out and about. Bangor was close for groceries and dinner out. Would highly recommend and would return when back in the area.

Peaceful Easy Feeling

Very nice lakeside home with comfortable beds and plenty of room to spread out and enjoy. Really appreciated the “welcome” package and little extras like TV apps and access to kayaks/canoes. Host was very helpful and accommodating. Sunset views from the deck were amazing (camera pictures really enhance the colors). Very peaceful and quiet on the lake.
