4. Cabin Sleeps 6 With Lake Access Parking

Northampton

"The listing does not reflect where this cabin is located. Listing reads, Cabin Sleeps 6 with Lake access parking. The map location, does not show the location accurately. The 2 bedroom caravan is inside the Billings Aquadrome, where there are indeed lakes. There is access information needed, cars reg, eta of arrival and age, the age question I found a bit strange. The map supplied (for once inside the park), is a little small and confusing. But, once inside the cabin, very pleasant surprise,...

10. No 35 MP Billing Aquadrome Holiday Park

"Good stay, van definitely showing its age. In need of repair in places. Little park outside. We didn’t use as no kids of relevant age. Water between the van and the park so would have concerned me if booked with that in view. Mostly clean with everything you need. If not a bit overpriced. It was bank holiday and the park was a sell out, so I’m sure that’s why. Bands for activities on the park paid for additionally so another cost to bear in mind. Staverton Park Hotel & Golf Club

10/10 Excellent

"Lovely hotel , great facilities , room was lovely and breakfast was nice"

Brandon Hall Hotel and Spa

8/10 Good

"There was mix up between our confirmed room type that we had booked and paid for on Expedia (Executive room) compared to what Expedia had sent to the hotel for our booking (Standard room). As a result, the first room we were given keys to was definitely a step down from what we had expected and, honestly, wasn't in the best of shape. Chips on furniture, paint missing etc. (see photos). It also didn't feel the cleanest. The hallway carpets on the way there also seemed worn and in need of a vacuum. Not a good first impression. The hallway floors are also very uneven but it is an old hotel so that is to be expected. The front desk lady was very understanding and accommodating as we worked through the room mix-up. Even though the hotel was nearly fully booked, she was able to put us in a Superior room which was newly decorated and very clean. Much appreciated. Only oddity with this one was that the bed rolling significantly on the new flooring when we sat on it! Very unnerving and potentially dangerous. Parking was good and felt safe and was included in the booking. The continental breakfast was also good and the staff friendly. Overall we were happy with our visit because of the room we ended up in. We understand that the hotel is being worked on to freshen it up a bit but we wouldn't want to stay there in one of the standard rooms, definitely not for their normal asking price."
