Welcome to The Dream Getaway.

Welcome to our oceanfront/beachfront home located at 1834A S Shore Dr, Surf City, NC 28445.

This newest edition is a three story single family oceanfront private escape. The views are SPECTACULAR. We offer 3 levels of private oceanfront decking, two outdoor showers and an oceanfront outdoor entertaining area with a charcoal grill and also includes a new 6.75’ x 6.75’ Nordic Hot Tub that seats 7.

Our location is IDEAL in Surf City on Topsail Island. We are on a quiet stretch of the beach surrounded by other homes but are still only 2 miles south of the pier and all of the shops and restaurants.

We have installed new LVP flooring ( No CARPET in this HOME) and purchased new smart TVs - one for every bedroom and one in the living room.

The home interior has been freshly painted and has new decor, new linens, new mattresses, new furniture, new sheets and towels and completely refreshed amenities.
The oceanfront balcony offers captains chairs so you can see over the railings for unobstructed ocean views.

The driveway can accommodate at least 5 cars.

We provide 10 brand new beach chairs, a beach umbrella and beach toys.
We offer laundry detergent, a fully stocked kitchen including spices and pantry items, keurig and K-cups,hand soap, hair dryer in every bathroom / shampoo/conditioner, body wash and toilet paper and paper towels to get you started.

We will consider your 4 legged family members on a case by case basis and a $100 refundable pet fee. Please tell us about your pup. We will consider up to 2 dogs and kindly ask that no dogs be allowed in or on any of the beds. We are sorry but we do not allow cats.

Two comfortable portable beds with memory mattresses are available to sleep two extra people. We have determined these are much more comfortable and more flexible than a sleeper sofa as they can be used in any room in the home - even outside for the adventurous type.

We do not offer discounts of any kind. We offer an extremely high level of service, flexibility and a ton of amenities not found in most beach rentals.
If you have a specific request, we will do what we can to accommodate you.

Perfect Getaway

Our family doesn’t get to be altogether very much during the year, and getting to spend time with each other in this home is the highlight of our year. House has everything you could need and being on the beach is the highlight. Thank you to Christine and Katrina for everything they do to make the stay smooth!

Another great stay

This was our second time staying at this home. I’m sure it won’t be the last time. It’s the perfect set up for our family. They have everything you need. We love the location. The hot tub is a so nice to have.

Awesome Beach house!

Perfect in Every Way

The best family house!

I was worried about bringing two toddlers and a golden retriever to a rental, but this house was just the best as it had everything we could think of and loved being literal steps from the beach! I really appreciated the little things that were provided in the home (baby gates, plastic cups/plates etc.) that made it feel like my babies were truly welcomed! The views from the kitchen and living room and the third floor deck were the highlight of our stay! Communication with Katrina and Christine really elevate the whole experience. I can't recommend this house enough!

We met family there. Directly on the beach. The views were amazing. The home was beautiful and comfortable. Amenities were perfect including beach towels and chairs and coffee pods and cleaners. Definitely would be back.

Perfect Beach Getaway...

Perfect beach vacation. We were just one family, but the house could easily fit two families. Right on the beach. Close enough to Surf City to walk or ride a bike. Host was gracious and accessible and full of great information about the area. We'll be back to Topsail for sure. This was our first time and we loved it.

Clean and modern beachfront home

We had a great stay here in July, 2019. It was our immediate family of five plus two grandparents. The house was very clean, up to date, wonderful ocean views and perfect for our stay. We were also just far enough from the pier that it was an easy drive up there to grab something, but no crowds. I would highly recommend.

We had a great time! The house is completely updated and only a few minutes to grocery and food! New deck to help get to the beach- this might seem trivial but with rebuild of beach you’ll have a harder time getting to the beach with some of the others up and down the beach. We had a great stay and the dog loved it! Extremely friendly and responsive property owners! Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Wonderful, 5 star stay!

We stay in VRBO’s often and this rental has been by far the best stay in any location so far. The house is beautiful, comfortable and stocked with more than you could ever need for a vacation. The kitchen had EVERYTHING! Plenty of pots and pans, bakeware, serving ware, crock pot, blenders, toaster, three different types of coffee makers, electric tea kettle; I even saw a quesadilla and waffle maker! The beds and living area are comfortable, and really made for a perfectly relaxing long weekend to catch up and enjoy the view. The customer service was amazing and I can’t say enough nice things about this trip. This house now sets the bar for any 5star rating I give in the future. We will definitely book again! If you stay, definitely make a trip to Day Break Donuts. I don’t even like donuts and went twice. 😂

Wonderful stay, stocked with everything

Matches expectations based on everyone else's great reviews. Clean and felt new, great oceanfront location with sunrise view from the deck, bright colors and big windows made it bright, but the magic was how well stocked it was. If I came back again, I'd bring some clothes and that's it. Kitchen had everything we'd want (and we cooked every meal), plenty of bathroom and beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, a nice TV with Roku streaming in every room, and impressively fast dependable internet throughout the entire house. So many features that felt like the owners paid a bit more to put something nice in here that they won't have to replace quickly... which means renters can have the same nice things we might have at home. We had a boys room, girls room, and two sets of parents each with their own nice bedroom. The layout is great, and it was pet-friendly as well with multiple gates on the walkways that would be helpful for dogs or kids. Don't second-guess, you'd be happy with this choice.

Everything was perfect!

Recently spent five nights at this amazing home. Everything is exactly as stated. Pictures did not do this house justice. From top to bottom cleanliness was A+ This was the first time in a beach house rental we had more than enough towels, washcloths etc. There were high-grade beach chairs for us to use. Even had plenty of beach towels for our entire family. The pay it forward program that they do is an amazing addition. Extra spices and things were left for our use. We did not have to go to the grocery store and spend a lot of money on these things because they are were already here. There were plenty of dishes for small or large dinners. Plenty of pots and pans, silverware, bowls, etc. to accommodate our entire family. The hot tub was freshly cleaned and was perfectly maintained. Outdoor shower at the beach access and also there was one right by the hot tub that you could fully shower privately before getting in the hot tub. Katrina was amazing from day one. Our comfort was her number one priority and she made sure to stay in contact with us to make sure everything was exactly as we needed it to be. This is probably our 20th+ beach house rental and I will have to truly say from Gulf Shores, Alabama throughout Florida and now the Carolinas this was by far one of the overall nicest stays we have had. Thank you so much to Katrina and staff for everything!!! We will be back soon.

We love this place! Plenty of room for all our family including me and my wife, 2 of our adult children w/spouses and 4 granddaughters. With 3 levels and plenty of deck space. We could gather together for meals and games but also find solace when desired. Nap time :). We love watching the kids at the beach for the 3rd floor deck. But could also quickly run down to participate.

Wonderful Beachhouse on Topsail Island

We had the best time in this beach house. The host couldn't have been more accommodating. The house had everything we needed, including chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, board games, a well-equipped kitchen -- everything! The bedrooms were perfect, beds were comfortable, and the location was best of all -- right on the beach. It was an ideal stay. I highly recommend staying here.

Relaxing and perfect

Everything from the start was just perfect. The property owner was very gracious and pleasant in her communications with us, and the housekeeper texted us her name and numton the day of arrival in case we needed anything. The house was clean, well stocked and equipped with anything you would need, and the view from the upstairs living room and kitchen is spectacular. The private beach access was a very short walk, and the beach was never even remotely crowded. We were happy they this is a dog friendly property. Our little dogs loved the house and the d cl and the beach. It made it a wonderful time for us to relax and be together.Topsail Steamer is a must do if you love seafood. We did it twice in three nights!We hope to be able to stay in this same house the next time we want a quiet beach vacation!
