We selected this property based on its location and it is very handy to explore the region. Breakfast is very good and the rooms are very big which was good. Our room lacked any cupboard space to hang things up, which could have been easily developed into the layout.

Vi havde booket 2 familieværelser, hvor der som minimium skulle være 2 seperate senge, så vores to 17-årige børn ikke skulle sove i samme seng. Vi blev taget godt imod og fik vores værelser. Min mand og jeg fik et værelse med, hvad vi vurderer, var en seng på 140 cm. Vores børn fik et værelse med en seng på omkring 160 cm. Det gik vi ned og sagde, og vores børn fik et andet værelse (jeg tror, det var deres familieværelse). Vi fik lov at overtage børnenes værelse, så vi fik en lidt større seng - dog ikke et familieværelse, som vi ellers havde bestilt 2 af for en merpris. Bortset fra dette, var resten rigtig fint, og vi havde et skønt ophold. Morgenmaden var også super lækker.

Værelset var stort set udmærket. TV fungerede. Men der var ikke gjort rigtig godt nok rent på gulvet i badeværelset. Der lå i to hjørner skidt. Ved døren og bruser. Desuden ikke vasket efter forrige gæst. Jeg manglede en hovedpude mere, når den er så tynd. Desuden ville det være rart med 2 af de små håndklæder. Hårtørrer manglede.

Oasen i Holstebro.

Hotel City var det første hotel Youssef El Maanaki åbnede. Og det spiller stadigvæk 100 %. Man får virkelig noget for sine penge her. Pragtfulde værelser og lejligheder, altid morgenmad incl, fred og ro midt i Holstebronx - og fin og venlig service. Bygningerne er ‘bedre byggeskik’-smukke og tilmed historiske. Her var absolut en arkitekt til stede, nemlig Ulrik Plesner, som skabte en perle midt i den gamle købstad. Holstebro og omegn må prise sig lykkelig over at have super-iværksætteren El Maanaki.

Ringeste ophold på hotel, jeg mindes.

Vi ankom sent. Nøglen lå på værelset. Der var hår på lagnerne og sengen var katastrofal dårlig og blød, at vi ikke kunne sove. Væggene var papirtynde så man kunne høre alt på hotellet og de andre gæster. Værelserne var ikke gjort rene med spindelvæv på væggene og loft. Morgenmaden var den eneste positive ting.

Det var over alle forventninger! Værelset var pæn og rent. Der var tænkt over comforten ved at vælge en seng der var bestand og lækker at sove i, og ikke bare to enkle senge man slog sammen. Det eneste minus var at der ikke var et lille mini køleskab til kolde drikkevare. Hotellet ligger dejligt centralt så man ku gå ned til hovedgaden med shopping og restauranter og bar. På trods af det ligger så centralt var der fuldstændig ro om natten. Morgenmaden var dejlig og frisk. Hjemmelavede boller, frisk frugt, bacon, røræg osv. der var meget at vælge imellem, dog i små mængder så man følte der også var tænkt på madspild. Et fantastisk ophold.

Hyggeligt ophold på Hotel City

Vi havde en enkelt overnatning på Hotel City i Holstebro i forbindelse med overværelse af en musical. Det var et udmærket ophold. Vi blev modtaget af en venlig medarbejder i receptionen. Die Zimmer waren, typisch dänisch, eher spartanisch eingerichtet. Leider war die Toilette unter dem Rand eher nicht so dolle. In der Dusche keinerlei Ablagen, aber das scheint in DK eine Art Standard zu sein. Personal/ Empfang freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück tatsächlich sehr gut. Für 2 Nächte ist das Hotel zu empfehlen.

Super lækkert sted med skønne renoverede værelser, og følelsen af at være på en højskole, herregård etc. Egen parkering samt flot stor have, som kan frit benyttes. Kan varmt anbefales.
