Not very happy
initially 2 days before going we were sent a e mail from owner saying that we had been upgraded to a 3 bedroom cottage 30b instead of going to the Cobbles, no reason was given. 30b was above The Cobbles and entrance was up a very steep set of iron steps, taking into consideration I am 81yrs of age and had recently had a fall down some stairs , I found them very difficult to manoeuvre. There was no garden and outside the cottage front door there was a landing and some grotty old tables with grotty old chairs. The inside of cottage was clean but inside the plugholes of the bath were a load of hairs, some of the pots and pans were dirty and and my partner scrubbed them except for the griddle pan that she could not clean as it was too dirty.
The bin area was at the bottom of the stairs and was not very pleasant to look at
The morning we left we met the man who was staying in The Cobbles and he informed us that he lived there, this was very confusing as we had booked The Cobbles perhaps this was the reason we were upgraded.
This experience means that we will no longer book with your company and will stick with who we know in the future.
