"We had the best stay at Byfords for our mini moon post our Norfolk wedding. We loved our self catered room and it was perfect for a cosy stay. The room was so stunning with decor with great touches from Make Holt to make it homely. We found it really easy to get help from the team and had a lovely afternoon tea and breakfast also at Byfords!! Would highly recommend"

"Loved this posh B&B. Beautiful old building set in a delightful town. Great base to explore places like Wells next the Sea, Sheringham, Holkham and Blakeney. Friendly attentive staff. Lovely food. Comfortable room. The attention to detail made it even better. Goodnight cookies shaped like moons. Free after dinner chocolates in the residents only bar. Welcome biscuits in the room. Complimentary toiletries that smelt yummy. Loved reading about their 25 year journey and looking at all the photos. Will deffo be back"

"Plenty of positives: high quality complementary toiletries, Dyson hair dryer, coffee machine & kettle, fresh milk & water provided, facilities downstairs were excellent and comfortable, food good, staff friendly and helpful. However, we were in a standard room which was not of the same standard. Shabby decor, small & cramped; only one chair, internal phone not working, WIFI unusable in room, bathroom sink didn’t drain and toilet ran constantly, poor shower. If you have any mobility issues you need to let them know before booking as there is no lift and we had a shower over bath."

"Lovely place to take our extended family to. Especially the beautiful downstairs bedroom and bathroom that gave us peace of mind that mobility was not an issue. The rest of the place was very comfortable and to be able to walk out the door straight onto the path to the beach was wonderful. A very nice short break for us all."

"The room was huge and very comfortable. Bath and shower were both fabulous. The hotel staff were very friendly. Breakfast was superb and the breakfast room was very light and airy. We had drinks from the bar and sat in the games room which was fab playing dominoes and solitaire. We had a wonderful stay thankyou so much."

"Nice property in a good location. Parking not as convenient as outside house, but not a major issue. This cottage is great for 2 people but would be a squeeze for 4 adults. Upstairs there are 2 bathrooms, but only 1 has a proper shower, the other has a hand set over a bath. Downstairs there is a large 6 seater table which is too big for the space, which leaves a rather cramped lounge area , especially for 4 people. Kitchen space is good, but there is no freezer box in the fridge."
