We had booked the Deerpark location, but the morning we were to check-in, we received a message indicating that we've been moved to a different rental location due to a 'plumbing issue at Deerpark'. "It has everything to make one’s stay comfortable."

"The staff let me check in slightly early on arrival which was welcomed. The room was comfortable and well appointed, including having the ability to screen cast to the TV from chrome devices - great for playing music. Due to the heat-wave at the time of my stay the room was the warm side, a function of the large picture window giving great views of the hills to the south of the town. On the plus side cold water was readily available from the filtered water dispenser by the lift, and a large rainfall shower also provided cooling when required. The breakfast buffet has an ample selection of hot and cold food whilst the lunchtime carvery served in the bar also leaves you feeling full for the rest of the day. If you are at a loss there is a Supervalu supermarket next door and other food options within the adjacent retail park."

"Place had everything to welcome us in. Tea, coffee, biscuits, water, etc. Soft towels, good bed, excellent breakfast. I’d give it 5 stars but don’t want to raise expectations too much. For the price point, it’s excellent value. Better than most B&Bs in its class. Bathroom and TV were functional but small. If size of either is a big deal to you, be advised."

"We were a family of thirteen, ages 8 to 77, staying at Lisheen Castle. There was something for everyone, reading in the sunroom, walking the grounds, the game room, or the tennis/basketball court."

"The property is a lovely character building. The staff are all amazing down to the reception, spa and hospitality team nothing is too much trouble. The room was cleaned every day, the breakfast was continental and cooked I asked for porridge one morning which was creamy with fruit on the side. We did have drinks in the bar one evening but didn’t eat there. It was within walking distance to the town but we had our own transport. I would definitely stay there agin and can wholeheartedly recommend."
