About this property
Cabbage Patch - sleeps 2 guests in 1 bedroom
Inside Cabbage Patch is a cosy and romantic experience. An ensuite bedroom gives way to a grand living space complete with a charming box bay window, where a bistro-style arrangement of two chairs and a table makes for magical date nights. While Cabbage Patch can be easily connected to Plas for a larger group booking, it does also have a separate entrance and an enclosed garden should you be seeking a secluded stay.
Ground floor
Living Room An open living room offers a log burner, large ceiling height bay windows and comfy seats to settle in to after days' spent discovering the Isle of Anglesey. A well-equipped kitchenette has everything you need to be self-sufficient during your stay, including an oven, electric hob, toaster, kettle and microwave.
Bedroom A large king size bedroom promises a good night's sleep, while the ensuite bathroom has a shower, WC and basin.
Outside
A small garden area with outdoor seating provides panoramic views over Rhoscolyn bay and onto Snowdonia beyond. On a sun-soaked summer evening, we recommend enjoying the colours of the sky while you sip on a sundowner.
The Local Area
Cabbage Patch is the perfect holiday cottage on Anglesey near the beach and a pub. It sits right on the Anglesey Coast Path, a 200km long route that encircles the entire island. Cabbage Patch is also not far from the famous White Arch, or Bwa Gwyn, a natural arch formed in the sea cliffs, and so is a dream destination for sea swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding and more. Once you've worked up an appetite exploring the nearby coves, crags and breathtaking scenery, fuel up at The White Eagle pub, which is only a few minutes on foot from the cottage. If you're in search of more hustle and bustle, the nearby towns of Trearrdurr Bay and Rhosneigr are great for shops, cafes and watersports.

WODERFUL LOCATION. CHARMING PROPERTY BUT A LITTLE SHABBY.
Firstly the location is great. A few minutes walk from the beach and the cliffs. The White Eagle Pub is just down the road, is very friendly, serves good food and is always busy.
We didnt get off to a good start when we arrived as we had not been sent the access code for the keys and had to chase Oyster but they were able to provide this within 10 minutes or so. On the day after arrival (Sunday) we found the shower did not work. Despite being a Sunday Oyster had a plumber call sameday to report that it needed a new valve and this would not be available until Tuesday when it was fixed (although we had to chase Oyster for an update). But that was 4 days without a working shower which i am sure could have been avoided with better management of the maintenance requirements of the property. I find at hard to believe it just failed without any signs that it was failing. Disappointingly there was no follow up call from Oyster to make sure all was OK and maybe apologise for the inconvenience? And certainly no further communication once I suggested we might be due some financial compensation!
The property itself is charming albeit getting a little shabby, There is a wonderful view of the sea from the living room window but it could be better if the bushes and grass were cut shorter. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The sofa is very small as is the chair and both are a little tatty. You need to be 7 foot tall to open/close one of the blinds in the living room. There is also a window that will not close. There seem to be several holes filled with visible expanding foam. Apparently the property was updated around 2012 and i suspect not much has been spent on it since.
Despite the shortcomings, we enjoyed our stay on Anglesey (as we always do) and will return but not to the Cabbage Patch.
