"The cabin is far from as described and overpriced for the condition and cleanliness. The state of repair is poor - furniture both outside and inside is dated and in places broken. Hot tub had a dirty foam on the top - must have been used with fake tan/make up previously. The only good thing is that the owner is responsive and has said replacements have been made since our stay."

"Property is far bigger than we expected and there was plenty of space for a family of 5 and a dog. Very comfortable and had everything we needed for a self catering holiday. Situated in a lovely setting with good pubs in walking distance. Great walks too. Would love to come back and spend longer here."

"We booked the property to celebrate my father in laws 80th birthday so there were lots of people ranging from 2 months old to 102 years old! The house itself is fab and the accommodation on offer was great. Location is excellent being near Bolam Lake with some good walks. We had a few teething problems in terms of heating and some supplies but all in all had a good stay"

"We stayed at Crackin View for a long weekend just before Christmas for our annual family Christmas holiday. Ages ranging from 5 - 65 with quite a few teenagers. The house was perfect for what we needed. Plently of room and commual areas for our large family, the living room was a great layout for playing family games.
