"Avoid property under this host. They requested a deposit paid before check-in via bank transfer because there wouldn’t b any front desk for check-in. That was fine. And it stated it would do deposit refund 7 days after check-out with no damage reported. I checked out 5th April, so far no one contacted me regarding any damage found. "This was the nicest Gasthof I stayed in on this trip. The room felt new and spacious. The bathroom was very sleek. No A/C (expected), but the window had a bug screen and they gave me a fan when I asked. The staff was friendly and helpful. I asked for laundry services and it was very mindfully done and a good value. Would definitely come back if I return to Berchtesgaden!"

"A very lovely place for a quick rest during a hectic travel itinerary. The lake is gorgeous and being able to go for a swim was a welcome reprieve from the heat. One note - the rooms do not have air conditioning. We happened to be there during an extremely hot time. We were provided with a good fan, which helped a lot. I'm certain that AC is unnecessary 90% of the time, we just happened to be there when it would have made a big difference in the overall comfort."

"Very friendly staff at reception. Great breakfast, play areas for children. Roof lounge was lovely. Room felt a little dated, beds not the best, but everything was well taken care of and it was a peaceful place to spend some time. Didn’t get a chance to try the pool but nice it was open late. We stayed just for one night in the middle of a long road trip when everything around Salzburg was booked. We’d do the same next year."
