"My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. The staff were all friendly and welcoming at reception and at breakfast at Water’s Edge. It would help if reception reminds guests that their room includes breakfast abalso gives direction as to where the pool, bar, and restaurant is located. There aren’t a lot of signs to help you navigate.
The property is beautiful and has walking paths that we really enjoyed. There is also outdoor seating and a dome with seating if it’s chilly out. The restaurant has big picture windows to enjoy the view and the breakfast was included in our room fee. We did not know this until the second morning because the restaurant is so out of the way, we didn’t see it the first morning and when we decided to look for it the second morning, the included breakfast was a nice surprise. The food was good but like any holiday or Drury inn hot breakfast. The setting makes it.
The room was recently renovated and we slept well. The only minor complaint was that some of the surfaces seemed to have spots or not look fully wiped down. No major stains or issues though.
Be prepared for a lot of walking. The parking lot is not close and the rooms are pretty spread out. There is a valet to park but it does cost money. This is not ideal if you are not able bodied, especially with luggage. We were on the third floor and had to walk to elevators further away due to construction."
