"The environment and facilities were quite family friendly. My grandson was so excited in seeing eels in the stream first time for his life. Please look after them well for children who only saw a picture in their books but not real ones in a stream."

"Our stay at this property was fantastic. It was situated right on the beach but with plenty of privacy as it was on the corner on the small stream leading to the beach and the beach itself. A dairy/takeaway was a two minute walk with a eatery just over the stream at the Surf Rescue facility. The house was just lovely with absolutely stunning views of the beach and sunset. We had 12 of us on our holiday and there was plenty of seating, rooms and space to spread out. The window seat infront of a huge picture window was so lovely to just lay and enjoy the view.The beach was awesome, our kids ranged from 4 to 18 and they swam, built sand castles, played football and swam, and we could see them from the front lawn. The owner was brilliant to communicate with. Im sure I asked to many questions, but he was welcoming, friendly and and replied promptly. If we go back to Waihi, I wouldn't bother looking anywhere else, as this house gave us the best location on the beach, a clean house, close to everything you need.When you do stay, you must play the card game,TACCO, PIZZA,. It was absolutely hilarious Thankyou to the owners for sharing your piece of paradise "

"House was great. But no Microwave which we really needed one. Oven took awhile to work how to start it. There were no Drapes on the windows In the kitchen/dinning room. People walking past could see everything Not very private Other than that was a great stay."
