"Excellent location. Room was different than expected with pictures shown. They are a mix of rooms. Once I figured out some things, all was amazing. Quiet. Safe. Comfortable.Great location for exploring the island. Walkable small beaches. Received a lot of different emails about the property and checking in. It made it confusing but figured it out. Its kind of like staying in a friend's guest room. Never really saw anyone."

"It is really very close to the beach, you can even walk it.i also love the place itself. very quiet. The only thing really is the air con is very loud that you can’t sleep! That is the tie breaker. Either you sleep in comfort with the loud sound of the air conditioner blasting loud into your ear or hot but quiet during the night. "My husband and I, along with our children and their spouses, and two of his siblings, stayed at Kona Blue for a week to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We drove through the security gates of the neighborhood and knew immediately that we were in paradise! We had three vehicles with plenty of room for more in the driveway and easilyaccessed the house through the coded lock on the front door. The house is absolutely stunning, with unbelievable ocean views from most of the rooms! The kitchen offered everything we needed to enjoy our meals, both in the dining room and on the lanai. There was plenty of space for us to spread out when we needed to, with plenty of comfortable seating for the moments we wanted to enjoy together. The pool was the perfect temperature and offered a refreshing dip in the heat of the afternoon. There’s a easily accessible walkway through the gated neighborhood, between the houses and the ocean, to allow you to stroll through the neighborhood and snap that perfect picture of the sunset! The beds were comfortable, and the bedrooms decorated tastefully and beautifully. The property managers promptly answered our questions and helped us. After spending a few days touring the island and finding our favorite spots to spend our days, we realized just how perfect the location of this house really is. This house is a few minutes from the airport, bars, restaurants, and beautiful beaches. Perfect!"

"We had a fantastic vacation here. The resort was beautiful, relaxing, great staff and service. We had several amazing dinners at Moana, the New York strip was phenomenal, grilled prawns were delicious, the house sourdough bread was on point, wine selection was good. Breakfast at Moana was also great, the French toast and the omelette should not be passed up. We also had dinner at the four seasons one night and it was not even close to being as good as Moana. The beach is a relaxing vibe, never felt crowded, just a serene view with relaxing waves to listen to, we had lunch and drinks at the shipwreck bar, grilled fish Baja tacos and ceviche with Island lagers really nailed it. They have a complimentary coffee bar open at 530 am with fresh fruit and the chocolate croissant was delicious , we did that every morning and worked out in the gym which has everything you need. Only comments which are not really complaints but could be improved, dinner at Kahuwai cookhouse could be better, the burger didn’t really impress for the price, bbq oysters also didn’t impress, needed more flavor on both, seems a missed opportunity for them to not have wood fired pizza or just a more bbq over fire focused menu, we would have loved that. Overall I would give it a 10/10, we will come back and plan to visit other Rosewood resorts after this."
