"Very old home that existed when the village was formed, created a very unique experience. People in adjoining rooms were very noisy after 11 pm. Bathroom sink drain needs to be cleaned to allow for proper drainage."

"We were disappointed almost as soon as we entered our room. Although it was clean, it was crammed full of furniture with little floor space. The bathroom sink did not drain. We were told by the owner that previous customers had poured cereal and coffee grounds down the sink. It would have been preferred that she had assigned a different room if she knew that."

"I picked this place because it was in the zone of totality and I could watch the eclipse from the comfort of a hot tub instead of having to fight through traffic. Clouds unfortunately completely blocked the view but still had a great time. There were some minor maintenance issues like how the main bedroom door downstairs did not shut that should be fixed to improve other's experience but overall it was a lovely visit. "We enjoyed our stay! Expansive lake views and the sunset was beautiful. Kayaks were fun and plenty of lifejackets. Was easy to enter the lake from the docks. Pride of ownership in the home was evident in the pristine condition and warm welcome. Linens were higher quality and beds were comfortable. Several cute towns nearby with delicious food options and groceries."
