Stroll along Main Street to discover charming shops and the Stourbridge Lion replica, America's first commercial steam locomotive. Outdoor enthusiasts can explore the nearby Lackawaxen River for fishing or kayaking, while history buffs shouldn't miss the Wayne County Historical Society Museum.
The property is neat and clean because of Sue( Manager of B& B) she is very client oriented and makes your stay special. It smells delightful, pet friendly, is decorated for the holidays, always snacks available! Sue made my trips through Honesdale comfortable & pleasant ….my only comment ( neg) - I have stayed in room 4 for the past 3 years. The only available outlet ( the one adjacent to bathroom doesn’t work, the other outlets are inaccessible) is over the sink and operated by the wall...

We stayed for our annual anniversary trip and as always, the resort did not disappoint. Ordered take out from KC Pepper, food was delicious and portions were big. The staff is always so welcoming. The property is perfect for a quick getaway, so peaceful. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Can’t wait to book again for next year!

Tammy was super sweet when we checked in. The rooms was a little smokey but a good place to pop in between traveling to our offical destination.
Go eat before arriving! Not alot of options and no one delivers. Its a motel and wasnt terrible.
Cute little store to get wine, booze, or coffee!

The room was perfect. Codes worked and way access. Very clean and comfortable.
If I had anything to say on the negative. We came up late and it was very hard to see the entrance and exit.

I took my son skiing to Elk Mountain and booked a room for one night. I was very happy with all aspects of the Hotel. Room was clean and in great condition, not run down at all. Roomy well appointed, functional. I had supper at their restaurant; chicken parmesan. Service was so fast I hardly had time to eat the free bread roll. The salad was fresh but a bottle dressing. The chicken parm. was good with a good sauce, and more than I could eat. The bed was firm but comfortable. Service was fast and...

Great property with great staff! Hop is super amazing and helpful and both Joe and Joe jr were nice and courteous as well. Another lady whom I didn’t get her name was also super lovely. Two beautiful horses on the property along with an indoor pool, hot tub, fire pit area and trails makes it a truly convenient enjoyable stay. Highly recommend and will return!

My partner and I had the most amazing trip at The Rex. We will definitely return again! From the amenities, to the fast responses, to the little touches (thank you for the NYE champagne!), we could not have had a better time.

The Hotel was very quanit. It is an old building which made it very interesting as far as history. I would have liked an elevator only due to my husbands issue with MS. There also were no handicap parking spaces and you had to pay a meter. Overall the Hotel was very nice and the staff was great. They were always there to help.

The property is located very close to the Performing Arts Center. I would not recommend walking to a performance, but it is less than a mile from the venue entrance. The hostess is lovely and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious! We had a comfortable stay.
