"The only thing I found to be an issue is the cabin I stayed in the doors opened to the outside not the inside and they didn’t latch well into seeding the door from a K9 alerting a person driving by! My K9 barked at a car going by the cabin and jumped up on the door which flung open and now my K9 ..."

Bad exerperience, unfriendly, uncaring people...no one cared and it was disgusting place to stay, do not believe the pictures shown online. I should have sued them for the fall I took especially since they could have cared less.

Honesdale is a quaint city. No major vendors (hotels, food chains, etc), but many smaller eateries and shops. Honesdale's claim to fame is that the American steam railroad began here. There is a museum that houses a replica of the Stourbridge Lion.
