"Our stay was good and the room was quite nice when we finally arrived, however it was impossible to reach the hotel staff beforehand to ask questions. The only contact info available was actually a phone number for customer service at hotels.com – who couldn’t help us at all. Something that is very good to know is that check-in actually is at 11 pm, which generally is quite unusual. For the hotels in this area it seems common though. Many people seem to rent a room for a night, for example...

"It is located at Sinchon so it is convenient. The room is small but in Seoul, with this affordable price, I would say the room size makes sense. For travelers who have one suitcase, it is not a problem. For travelers with more than 1 suitcase, it may be difficult to accommodate them and open them. The room is not very clean but still acceptable. If you are on budget but still want to choose somewhere convenient, this hotel is good. Please be reminded that the check-in time of this hotel is 11pm...

"This "hotel" was not clean. 2 out of the 4 pillow cases were soiled. The bed was firm as sleeping on the floor. Check in time was a firm 10pm. I could not check in at 8pm and had to wait in the lobby 2 additional hours. The window faces a brick walk, minmal fresh air. My room smelled like smoke. I didn't even check if it was a not smoking hotel. There is no deadbolt on the door. The door did n ot seem secure overnight. Front desk only spoke Korean but was willing to use my phone translation app....

"Good value for money in good location. Very clean property and everything in the suite works well. It’s walkable to subway, insadong cultural street and Gyeongbuk palace. If I have to nick pick, it would be good if bottled water is provided . "

"Our party of five had a pleasant stay at Brown Suites. It’s located right in Sinchon and a minute walk to the metro station. We really enjoyed the Sinchon shopping and dining area nearby with many choices and seeing lots of young people there. Though the unit is a bit dated, the staff keeps everything clean and comfortable. Special kudos to Mr. Chang Duk Oh, who spoke English very well, and helped us arrange a ride to Incheon Airport on our check-out day. Thank you! High recommend!"
