"We feel so lucky to have found this place to stay in while down one Somerset. The house has everything that you need from a Nespresso machine to dressing gowns in the bedroom and amazing wood to burn and keep you warm. Not to mention the secret garden! Wendy and Ewen were both exceptionally helpful before, during and after our visit. We will hopefully be back!"

"Staff very helpful at reception on arrival. Breakfast was plentiful with a good selection including gluten-free alternatives as well. Great location to walk into town but we would recommend doing this in the day. Unfortunately, we arrive too late in the evening and were disappointed when we walked into town to have a meal near the cathedral to find lots of homeless and sleeping bags everywhere along with people that were inebriated. You do tend to find that any labour run towns or cities are very rundown which is a shame because you wouldn’t expect that from a place like Exeter."
