"I like the property itself, it’s a small place a bit out of the beaten path but the room is pretty much an apartment and as there are only few rooms and a common area, feels ideal for 2 or 3 couples traveling together. Just be aware it’s a bit far from town"

"Kim and James’s cottage was the perfect home base for exploring Big Island’s trails and beaches. Waking up to breakfast with an ocean view and the Pacific breeze was a highlight. The place was spotless, nearly insect-free, and stayed cool enough without AC. It’s ideal for two or three people. The kitchen is simple but has everything you need to cook your own meals, and there are plenty of nearby spots with great local food. James welcomed us personally and was always ready to help, which made us feel truly cared for. Kim’s artwork in the house adds a lovely personal touch. Thank you both for sharing your beautiful place."

"Truly, one of our families, favorite getaways! The property was clean, very comfortable, and close to a tremendous amount of amenities. Access to the beach club is such a gift! We enjoyed snorkeling, listening to the beautiful music from the restaurant, and exploring different shops and restaurants that were all a short bike ride away. We cannot recommend this Listing enough!"

"We stay here often. No frills, but the rooms are comfortable and staff is helpful and friendly. Just due to rural location, WiFi is weak in case you need to do business, not the best connection. Also, water pressure is slight again likely rural living. Otherwise, very comfortable. "
