This is not some tired old Waikiki hotel room with a sliver of an ocean view and smelly carpets.

Located AT THE TOP of the Diamond Head Beach Hotel, this penthouse studio has panoramic views of Diamond Head to the east and Waikiki to the west, including ocean, mountain and park views. Some guests have likened it to a crows nest due to the outstanding views.

Stylish and tastefully renovated -- with Travertine floors, Cherry Wood cabinets, African Ivory Granite counter tops, white Island Shutters, white Leather chairs, indigenous Koa wood furnishings, Kohler bath products, 52" HD TV, Digital Cable, HBO, FREE Password Protected Secure High Speed Wi-Fi, and a Memory Foam King bed with Egyptian cotton sheets help to make your stay comfortable, tranquil and rejuvenating. All you need to do is open the windows and take it in!

There is no real need for a car -- as you won't want to leave this highly desirable Gold Coast neighborhood with everything you need within walking distance. The Bus stops out front and we have UBER, Lyft and Biki as well. There is a laundry room in the basement / garage, and there are several car parking stalls for rent--if you must.

The condo unit was accurately described and very clean. Jan provided everything needed for a 10 day stay. She pays attention to detail! The property is also safe with easy access to the main area of Waikiki. Easy access to many places using Uber. There are good restaurants within walking distance and a large park across the street. Beautiful views out each side of the room. I can recommend this property.

This was our THIRD stay at Jan’s penthouse, and we love it there. For us, it’s all about the awesome views and quiet location. Our favorites are waking up to the sunrises that can be seen easily from the room, and ending the day in the lovely lawn enjoying the sunsets. Jan is a wonderful host providing so many extra perks like giving us plenty of coffee and bottled water for our two week stay. Having Tide available for doing laundry was truly appreciated as well. Jan will take good care of you so don’t hesitate to stay, you will love it here! !

Cozy and clean, can’t beat the view and location. Jan was a great communicator and her listing is accurate. We’ve stayed in various Waikiki locations and this was ideal for us. If you plan to rent a parking space, a mid-size SUV is the largest you should get.

Could not recommend this gem of a location enough!! The views and area are spectacular. Perfect for 1-2 people. Jan is incredibly helpful and communicative. Overall, the perfect place for my fiancé and I to use as a home base while visiting Oahu!

We live in Waikiki but needed a weekend getaway. Jan's condo was perfect. Located in the Diamond Head/Gold Coast area we had access to the park, the ocean and the Diamond head end of Waikiki. Would definitely recommend this unit and will plan on staying again when the opportunity arises.

We stayed a week and the penthouse was fantastic with incredible views, wonderful location with small private comfortable grassy area for lounging and swim. Jan is a great communicator. It was great to be able to “drop in” to waikiki then return to the quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend this place.

Can't say enough about the location! Close enough to walk but not in the middle of all the noise. Jan (owner) was great with suggestions and communication. The property was super clean. Great at night to sit out and have a glass of wine, enjoy the ocean.
