We stayed at Kaimana for 5 nights and LOVED IT. We got the ocean front view and was beautiful! Very clean, detail oriented, and organized. Staff was very friendly and on site coffee shop was delish. Would 10/10 stay here again

I’ve been staying at Kaimana for years now usually once or twice a year. They’ve freshened up the place, fresh paint, railings have been changed and no longer rusty and it doesn’t look as dreary when it was a year ago but that didn’t stop me from staying there. Staff is friendly, clean rooms and location is perfect for those who want to be a bit away from the noise of Waikiki but close enough to access it. They have enough beach towels now even if they were at capacity.

This was an amazing hotel the staff was super friendly. And had everything you needed for an amazing beach day. The beach on site was a so clean and nice that you dont have to worry about parking or anything just relax and enjoy the beach. My wife said when we come back we will definitely be staying here again.

This was such an amazing stay. Great views. Friendly staff. Only thing Iʻd say is that itʻs a little hard to find cheap food unless you donʻt mind driving. It is located outside of the "main" parts of Waikiki, but we loved that aspect. Would 100% stay again

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was cozy, although a little tired and could use some refreshing. We loved the balcony view, the overall atmosphere, and the great location. A couple of things to note: we didn’t receive the complimentary wine that was promised, and parking is valet-only. Overall, a very pleasant stay with a lovely atmosphere and location.

Good location. Clean place. Staff was nice. Restaurant insanely expensive for what you get. No fitness room. Bikes not really available, misleading in hotel description. They say they will reimburse you if you rent city bikes. Huge hassle. No coffee pot in room unless you ask for it specifically. You can buy a $6 cup of drip coffee at their coffee shop.

Excellent location on the beach but just far enough from all the big hotels to be quiet and peaceful. Hau Tree restaurant very good food with friendly staff. Plan on renting a car(valet parking) or getting an Uber to go to Oahu attractions as nothing but Aquarium and Zoo are close.

Kaimana Beach Hotel is a great place to stay. It is located on a stretch of road that leads into private residences, as such, it is very quiet. This also makes this hotel furthest away from restaurants and coffee shops on Waikiki. The hotel and staff are great. The hotel restaurant and bar are also convenient if you don’t want to leave the property. The resort fee includes beach access, beach towels and chairs, as well as reef safe sunscreen.

My 3rd time staying at Kaimana Beach Hotel. I had some issues on my door as it wouldn’t lock all the way, I have to push it hard it order for it to lock. TVs should be upgraded to smart TVs. Overall I still love this hotel as it’s beachfront and I really enjoyed and loved my early morning swims

In love with the room, not a bad one. Stayed 3 separate times over the course of July 2026. The rooms have mini split AC units which will freeze you out in a good way (if you want it to). You can see the ocean/beach from the balcony of the east facing rooms, west facing is clear beach ocean views. Didn't frequent the bar, no pool needed as it sits literally on Kaimana Beach. Be careful of the undertow at that beach. I'll stay again next visit to Oahu.

Beautiful views and wonderful location! The mother & baby Monk Seal were below on the beach so thankfully the hotel had access for us at another beach. Everyone is so helpful and the property has the delicious Hau Tree Restaurant right at the beach.
