Located at 240 Liliuokalani Ave, the Royal Moana is a few minutes walk to world class Waikiki beaches and was remodeled with the sole purpose of providing you a classy yet economical alternative to a hotel room. Ask yourself, why would I ever rent a room when I can rent a home? As you can see in the amenities, we have gone to great lengths to make sure these condos are truly your home away from home. Ali’i Beach Rentals manages the entire property so there are 6 identical fully furnished stylish one bedroom condos and 1 classic studio available.

The sleeping arrangements are very convenient with a queen bed in the bedroom along with a trundle day bed which has two twin sized mattresses. Leave the bedroom pocket doors open for extra space or shut them for a private bedroom.

ALI'I BEACH RENTALS INCLUDE:
- Beach chairs, boogie board, and cooler
- Bed linens, bath, beach & kitchen towels
- Dishes, silverware, cookware (including tea kettle, rice cooker, blender)

The apartment was clean and well outfitted with all the necessary appliances & dishware. The only drawback was seating to relax - only a most uncomfortable rattan couch with scant cushion & 2x lumpy pillows! Fortunately, a large folding beach chair provided one of us a comfortable seat. 2x folding chairs were used as dining area in lieu of straight-back uncomfortable dining chairs.

The bed was comfortable, and the provided bath and beach towels were great. It was also nice to have a washer/dryer as well each chairs to use. I recommend this entail.

It was a pleasure to spend a month in this location. While the apartment is slightly dated , it is spacious and very clean. Any issues we had were immediately resolved by the management. I was so impressed with their willingness to cater to any of our needs. You can’t get a better location - 5 minute walk to Waikiki beach, 2 minute walk to the canal and lanai!! Each day I was able to watch the sunrise and set if I walked in either direction. Shops, markets, hotels all easily accessible. Having a little market/ store right below was so convenient for basics. Even the laundry business on the first floor ended up being a boon , as I was able to easily acquire towels and sheets while washing mine. Loved it so much have already booked a month for next year!! Mahalo Ali’i Beach Rental for making our stay so pleasant .

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If I could give zero stars I would. I'm sure it could have been a nice stay but due to my flight was cancel because of the hurricane I had called and check to see if they can cancel or change dates. I was told I can only cancel 30 days before which obviously I wasn't planning a hurricane to pass or planning to cancel 30 days ago. I believe the situation should have been taken care a little differently they weren't able to cancel or refund any of my money because I did not have "travel insurance". Even the airline which I did not have travel insurance was able to help me and change dates free of charge due to the category 4 hurricane . So just lost all the money booking this place. And I now booked somewhere else.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit is located in a sketchy area just a few blocks off the beach. No pool, no deck, A/c is inadequate for the size of the unit, you can feel the springs in the mattress, The pictures are really deceiving in making it look a lot nicer than it was. we rented it for 5 days and stayed only 1 night. We found a hotel ( Royal Monarch) with a kitchenette 2 blocks away, closer to the beach, real lobby, pool, ice machine, elevators, decent area, etc.... for 135 / night as a last minute deal. Fortunately, I could afford to relocate and let the place sit vacant and pay for it as well. I would suggest calling the Royal Monarch first. We moved the very next morning and had a great time. Based on what we experienced the unit is overpriced, hey need to invest in a new bed, buy some ice trays, get a decent clock and fix the leak in the bathroom above the shower. Aloha

I give it 💯 (100) million stars ⭐️ The management person I met upon arrival was handsome and nice. The other guests were friendly. It was clean, quiet, mad convenient to EVERYTHING, and it was well stocked ( pots, pans, coffee maker, rice cooker, cleaning supplies, free washer & dryer, you name it. There’s even a little bodega right there next door to the building. My only regret was not booking a longer stay. It was already fully booked so I had to move on 😔☹️😢 I felt at home and didn’t want to leave. Hopefully, I can book for my family when the come out here to visit us. I will surely miss this cozy little place.

I wasn’t sure how much I’d like a long term stay in the city, but I fell in love with this location and simple condo. It was SO easy to walk to the beach and all the nearby spots along Waikiki. The mart downstairs was also clutch. Would absolutely stay here again, thank you!!

I did call and left a message with the number listed on VRBO as that is the only information I was given to contact anyone. I also emailed. A house keeper let me in. When I finally got the access code email I did email her back letting her know that I tried to contact them, her response was I should have contacted her directly... again, I did not have that information! I did let them know the air conditioner is extremely loud and I had noticed that there were other past complaints about it - I was told that I will be getting a 150$ credit due to that. The condo itself is perfect! Clean, close to the beach and shopping. Has every thing you need to cook and clean. If there was better communication I would recommend staying, but the lack of communication was a big deal for me.

This rental is exactly what it says, and it looks exactly as it does in the picture. Window ac unit, sucks, and there is no WiFi, they will say maintenance will come, but they will not. Laundry is outside under a roof. It is close to the beach, maybe five minute walk, but spend a little more and get a nicer place. It just felt really motel-like. I gave it a 4, because it is what it says in its advertisement. You get what you pay for, for sure. It’s cheap, location is ok, but no WiFi, they actually lie and say maintenance is coming, which I find gross, that you lie to everyone that stays, but again price was cheap. I wouldn’t stay here again, but if all you care about is cheap, this will fit.
