Welcome to our completely remodeled home in Honor, a short drive from Sleeping Bear Dunes and the beaches. The Platt River kayak launch is a four minute walk from our front door. Three restaurants are a two minute walk from the front porch.
We have TVs in every bedroom, a hot tub that is open year round and is walled off from the wind, and an indoor pickleball court. Enjoy many board games, a Super Nintendo Mini, and Disney Plus and Amazon Prime Video. We currently have three arcade machines.
Large groups will enjoy our two decks, one of which is covered with a TV, outdoor kitchen, and hot tub. Rainy days are not a problem with an indoor pickleball court and Cornhole tournament area with three sets to use. Have a campfire in the fenced in backyard.
We also have axe throwing, crochet, bocce ball, a full size beach volleyball set, and lots of other games. We provide everything you can think of- beach towels, life jackets, helmets, camp chairs, cooler, backpack, and much more.
With two dining rooms, four bars, to decks, and an outdoor kitchen our home is thoughtfully designed for large family groups. We have many toys for kids and many bikes to enjoy. Our home has new mattresses, couch, loveseat, recliner, linens, appliances, and kitchen.
All bedrooms have a TV and a/c.
Pack n’play, high chair, stroller, and kid carrier backpack available as well for little ones.

More than five guests will have an extra charge of $25 per person

Bryce had a clean home in a convenient location centrally located to Frankfort, the beach and Traverse City. We enjoyed our walks to the Platte river, and coffee at Weldon Coffee. This was a nice place for our family, and Bryce was great to work with.

The house was just right for our families vacation. Close to Sleeping Bear and many downtowns to visit. The large garage had so many fun activities for all ages, 18 months to adults. The house was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of room for all eight of us. Bryce’s was an excellent host and had great communication.

We all enjoyed our stay and had a great time. The house was plenty big for the 9 of us, and we all felt comfortable throughout the stay. The hot tub was working and very clean, and there was plenty of games and activities to do at the house. Beds were comfortable and the sheets were clean.

Amazing Stay

Short getaway with the family (kids and grandkids). The house worked perfectly for what we were looking for. Beds were comfy and living room big enough for everyone to sit and watch the football games. The room upstairs in barn was great for young and old. Bryce was great when it came to communication, and even offered a free nights stay. Only negative - We all like to play pickleball and the court was a main reason we rented - if you are renting this for pickleball use you will be disappointed with the court because it is not near offical size....

This was a great place. The host was incredibly communicative and nice. It was a quick walk to restaurants and shops for necessities. The house was spacious and offered many activities. We had an amazing couple of days relaxing at this well appointed property! Thanks to Mother Nature’s blizzard, plans changed, drastically, forcing us to stay at the house rather than venture out. Not a problem, here! We cooked up meals easily in the kitchen that had everything, enjoyed time on the pickleball court, played games in the spacious family and dining room and snuggled up on the cozy, comfy recliner couches to watch some movies. Bryce was an excellent communicator and really responsive, making sure our stay was as comfortable as possible.

Winter weekend getaway

An ideal location for our extended weekend getaway. Only a short drive to Crystal Mountain for some winter activities. The hot tub on the back deck was used every night. It's great to have a place to stay where we could bring the family dog with us. Our host was wonderful, and we would stay there again.

Amazing Place for a Group of Guys

Between the pickleball, hot tub, arcade machines and how many beds there are it was a fantastic space for a group of guys. The host was very accommodating and easy back and forth. Also the staff at the Sweets Bar was a two minute walk and a lot of fun!

Clean, Cozy and Close to Everything

We loved our stay! The home was very clean, very well stocked, comfortable and close to all the surrounding northern Michigan towns. We had a great time exploring different Lake Michigan towns during day trips, most were only 20-30 min away. The fenced in backyard was private and great for our pup to explore. Communication with the host was excellent. Highly recommend!

Good place for a group!

Nice clean house. The kitchen is well equipped and large, the living space is open too. The back patio is a really nice touch, even when it rained, you’re outside and comfortable. Close to the restaurant in Honor, you can walk there. The host is easy to work with, I hope to work with again.

Hosts are amazing and working hard to make this a great place to stay for the whole family.

At first glance, we were iffy. They’re going a lot of construction. There are parts of the wall that’s exposed, could smell the new fresh coat of paint before you walked in, and some minor patchworks. And then we stayed the first night. The hosts were extremely welcoming and courteous, checking on my family even after we checked in to ensure we were taken care of. The place itself is incredible for larger sized families. Having a separate building for the kids is a vacation game changer. This place has the potential to be the best of what other locations have to offer.

We had the absolute BEST time at this property. Actually, it is my favorite home we have ever stayed for so many reasons. The house was spacious and clean, beautiful and cozy. There were so many amenities that gave it a special feel. So many kids toys and activities kept my 3 year old busy; she was content to stay at the house rather than explore the beautiful Sleeping Bear area around us. The house is in a great location to visit all the amazing places nearby. In our 4 night stay, we visited so many hikes and beaches in the Sleeping Bear area, Frankfurt, Pointe Betsie Lighthouse/beach, Leland, Arcadia area; it is so close to everything that it didn’t feel like trouble to fit everything on our itinerary in. One of the best parts was the communication with the host; they were so wonderful, accommodating, kind, helpful, I could go on and on. They really went above and beyond to make our stay a great one. We would come back to this home over and over again. 11/10 stars. Thank you to the wonderful hosts for making our experience perfect and sharing their beautiful home.
