"This was our first time in Colonial Beach and we really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend renting a golf cart to get around town. The house is beautiful and in a great location close to everything. The homeowner was also great to work with and we’ll definitely be back soon!"

"This cottage was right on the main road in Colonial Beach. It was very clean and comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. The outdoor area was relaxing and had a fire pit and grill. The location was close to everything in town. You could walk to the beach and many stores and restaurants. We love the area and hope to return soon!"

"Wonderful view from the livingroom & the master bedroom. Clean house with hardwood floors. Great time for kids crabbing & a great place to fish -- one slot red, a few puppy drums, croakers, and even a couple of cownose rays that gave maybe the best fight I've had fishing! Michelle was very communicative & helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"The home has tons of room and is very nice for a group. We were there for my son's TBS graduation and it is very close to the Quantico base, as well as grocery stores and restaurants. We enjoyed having meals together in the kitchen and drinks on the back deck. Would definitely stay here again!"

"I was looking for a nice, quiet, and relaxing, vacation. This property did not disappoint. The house was comfortable, cozy, well stocked, and so clean. The view is incredible. Just sitting outside watching the river was so "Zen". I had one of the most restful vacations ever. I was there for a little over two weeks and I would have stayed longer if I could have, Kim, the host, was very friendly and helpful. I look forward to staying at this beautiful property again."

"Nice updated small house, great location on the water. Great bird watching...saw many bluebirds and eagles in addition to many water birds. Hot tub was great. Note that road to house is gravel and hilly...not good if you have a low clearance car such as a corvette. Our sedan handled it no problem."

"This rental served as "spill over" space for family that came into town for my daughter's graduation that we couldn't accommodate at our house. It delivered on all that it stated in the listing! It was clean and conveniently located in Stafford. The host was easy to reach and quickly answered all inquiries. A couple things to note: - For coffee: there is both a drip system and a Keurig (which is not stated in the listing). - The check in/out time was a bit more constraining than other rentals...

"Overall very nice, clean, etc. Happy with it. Getting picky, they have everything you need for coffee but no coffee. Chairs seemed kind of cheap, didn't fit the rest of the nice furniture. Beds were Very comfortable.Nice porch and deck."

"Everything. I mean everything was perfect. We saw swans, ducks, and even sn alligator gar for you fishing lovers. The River was beautiful. The host very responsive. The house very-well appointed. Nothing missing. They even had art supplies for our rainy day. Highly recommend this water-front house."

"Bug infested, double booked, gave code to both familes, filthy dirty, moled towels, no amenidties *but wouldnt use them if they were there). Had to go buy paper towel, toliet paper, plates plasitcware, cups even for coffee. Towels had mold. Laundry coin operated and even if you have coin open the dorr get the stench of a lifetime. Oh and infested with ants and hornets. Stay outside its better"

"Me and my fiancé and our two little boys had an amazing time at this pool house, such a nice relaxing home with your own personal hot tub and pool very laid-back relaxing and Across the street same little area you have a river Beach area, Very clean and the homeowner was awesome! Will definitely be back! Must check it out!"

"My daughter (age 21) and myself stayed at this home for the past few days. We had such a lovely time! The house is beautiful and Diana has thought of everything to make you feel welcome. The house has a wonderful layout and a comforting vibe. Out of all the vacations we have taken, we were the saddest to leave this place lol and we are already making our next plans to come back!
