"Everything about this hotel was excellent. However, I did have one complaint. In the dining area next to the Starbucks where I dined once, I was shocked when seeing the bill for 2 drinks- it was $32.00!!! Although I was given a food menu, I was not provided a drink menu, nor was I told about their exorbitant drink pricing. Be forewarned - don’t order drinks at this hotel unless you are prepared to be robbed!"

"Room was perfect for needing a place to shower and sleep for a weekend of moving my OU kids in! Not a great hotel for hanging out on. Beds were full size so note that if you want to snuggle or not. Also suggest your own soap and shampoo as the ones in the room are tiny and not foe more than one person. Staff was helpful. Not any extras but would stay here again."

"We had a great stay at the Aspen Haus with book hocking. It was very cozy and clean with most everything you could think of! The decor was very well planned and designed, which we enjoyed. There were two AC units in our cabin which was helpful with one being in the bedroom and one in the main area, we could shut doors and sleep at different preferred temps. The stove/oven in our cabin was out of order but we arrived to a hot plate and toaster oven brand new so we were still able to cook and bake as expected. The fridge on the other hand worked, but never really got cold. Out groceries were cool at best. Thankfully, nothing spoiled. We didn’t have service in the area to look up a user manual and tried several settings as well. Water was hot and the shower was great, although a ledge or stool to set soaps on would be ideal instead of on the ground. We did turn the sofa into a bed for our daughter. The listing said the cabin sleeps four but these are really ideal for only two people. She was able to sleep but they didn’t provide extra bedding for four, only a throw pillow and throw blanket for the fold out couch/futon. We didn’t turn enjoy the games provided in the cabinets which was great in the evenings. The hot tub was nice after hiking as well and it is your own private tub which I was unsure about before booking. The outside space was just OK. There is a small deck, a hot tub, and fire pit all within a small space, we found it very cramped but made due. Overall a good stay."

"I didn’t realize there were no bedrooms. The VRBO says two bedrooms, but it is two mattresses in two lofts with one set of steps. Only one of the three of us could climb steps so the place was hard for us. I feel like the description is not clear. However; if there were only two of us I would stay again."

"I stayed at Adam's charming houseboat for three nights with two close friends for our 7th annual camping trip, and we were absolutely blown away by our stay. When we arrived in Langsville, we encountered some pretty severe flooding blocking our route to the property, but Adam drove 20 minutes to where we were and led us through the least dicey back roads to ensure we made it safely.The houseboat itself is so quaint and unique. We enjoyed our days exploring the farm, chatting with the cows, boating in the pond, soaking in the jacuzzi tub, and hiking in Hocking Hills. We spent cozy nights by the fire pit, grilling, and listening to thunderstorms. It was the perfect vibe for us.Adam was truly the best host we have ever had the pleasure of staying with. Beyond saving us from flash flooding, he welcomed us to explore his massive property, told us about nearby activities, and introduced us to his adorable pup, Sparky, who literally herded us to the swimming pond when we were looking for it.On a personal note, I moved out to Arizona 6 years ago and have been privileged enough to still enjoy this camping trip every year with my best friends. We look forward to this trip each year, and Adam's property provided the perfect getaway; we can't thank him enough. It was an adventure from start to end, one we will cherish for many years to come.Thank you, Adam!"
