Had a great two night stay at The Lodge at Jaguar Reef. All of the staff members that we interacted with were helpful and accommodating......especially Julio at the front desk! Amazing room and property. Drinks and bartenders from the restaurant bar and the Big Dock bar were awesome. If we ever return to the area I can't imagine not staying here.
Our host RJ and Tabitha were the kindest staff! They were caring and friendly in making sure our concerns were addressed. We had a great time at the resort enjoying the beach and amenities. The food was poor but there are great local options in the area which worked out much better!
We stayed as a family of 4, and would stay again. Property was quiet and clean. Staff was amazing. Parking was easy. Highly recommend you rent a car. This resort is not terribly close to shops/restaurants in town.
Very beautiful property and peaceful stay. It was a little too quiet. I desired a little more night life and entertainment for adults. But maybe that was due to Easter holiday and locals off on vacation. I also desired better food. We did venture off the property and experienced delicious dining options.
Beautiful property, very friendly and responsive staff, delicious food, great beach amenities, safe and family-friendly. We had a room on the second floor with a hot tub on the balcony over looking the ocean, which was so luxurious. Couldn’t say a negative thing and would highly recommend.

We stayed here for our 20th anniversary and enjoyed it so much! The staff are so welcoming and attentive and the resort is well-maintained and clean in a good location. We stayed in a seafront suite and could see the water from our room. The plunge pool could be more private but the view was great. You have to visit the Big Dock Bar and Edgar will take good care of you! We really enjoyed the breakfast options at Paddle House but preferred dinner at Chef Rob’s a few doors down. The vibe is relaxing and chill but we also had a fun day trip snorkeling which was arranged through the concierge. We would definitely stay here again on a return visit!
The staff is very friendly and kind. The first night we had some issues with the ac in our room, after speaking with Robin in the guest lobby she immediately got her manager on the phone and together they found the best solution to accommodate my family and I immediately. They apologized several times for the inconvenience and provided us with a complementary meal in the restaurant. The food was good and staff once again was pleasant. Our room was clean and the property was well kept.
Thank you to the staff at jaguar reef
I loved that this hotel had a lot of extra ways for visitors to get to know Belize. They had a fantastic story telling night by the fire pit. It gave a sweet glimpse into the culture of Belize. Might need more al la carte options on the cafe menue.
We had a wonderful stay in the seafront villa at Jaguar Reef. All of the staff we encountered were great. It was very nice that you were able to schedule your housekeeping anytime between 8am - 8pm as to not interrupt your day.
Julio was great making sure we were well cared for, whether it was a room service order, or a maintenance request, he was responsive on WhatsApps within minutes.
My husband and I enjoyed a great, relaxing 5 nights at Jaguar Reef and plan on returning again in December. This was our first time in Hopkins Belize but certainly won't be our last!
The property was beautiful! Belize is an amazing country with super nice people! The Mayan ruins were awesome to see and explore! The food choices were limited and the dining times were also. Had to go out into town to get better options.
All the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable! Our favorite staff was Captain Larry! He greeted us every morning. He even brought a fresh coconut cut open ready to drink for each person in our family! Always kind and positive! Communication with the resort was quick and easy through What's app. This was our 3rd visit at Jaguar Reef and I'm sure we will choose them again!
Serene Beach resort with amazing water activities. Fun thoughtout ways to enjoy your stay from the pool, firepit with marshmallows, included paddleboards kayaks, bicycles, and big dock peir with rope net lounge over the ocean. Golf carts available to rent. Location is close to the village made exploring, eating, and enjoying the culture easy. One and only downside is one night the dock and pool bars and the pizzeria eatery would be open the next night they would be closed. Not to big of an issue as the Paddlehouse restaurant and bar was open at all times. If ever in Belize again would definitely stay here again.
The property is so beautiful and well maintained. We had been there a few times. The resort is located on the beach. I booked vocational house this time . They didn’t have anything different to book and I was thinking that this house is on the property grounds . This house was beautiful and specious but not on the property ground. It was 6 min walking distance to the property. It was very inconvenient to pack and drive my car to use property and beach When I made reservations I was completely unaware of the house location. They informed me on the confirmation that I didn’t read . My husband complained and we were moved after 2 days to the beautiful condominium 2 bedroom and 2 bathrooms with infinity pool on the porch. The customer service in this resort is excellent. Thank you all the staff that was above and beyond to satisfy customer’s requests. This resort never disappointed me and I stayed there 3 times

The Lodge at Jaguar Reef is in a fantastic location, and the facilities are generally quite good. We have stayed at the lodge four times, each in a different room, and have found the accommodations to be fairly consistent.
During this visit, however, we encountered some maintenance issues. The plunge pool in our room was not functioning, several lights throughout the room were not working, and there was some flooding due to the rain. The staff promptly addressed the lighting issue, but unfortunately, the plunge pool was not fixed during our stay.
The location and grounds at Jaguar Reef are truly beautiful, but the food is not. It is quite overpriced and not particularly good, which seems to be a common issue at Belize Collection resorts. As a result, the resort’s restaurants are often empty.
We typically choose to dine at local restaurants or other resorts, but we continue to return to Jaguar Reef because of its great location.
A quick note for future visitors: The hot tub and pools are not heated and close early at 9 PM. so selecting a room with a private pool might be a good option for you.
