"Quirky cottage, absolutely everything you would need for a long stay. Parking is a bit tricky but Sue the owner provides information on where to park. Handy for the Spoons 😊😊"

"The staff were friendly and efficient. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of parking space"

"Popular pub with rooms, basics food, good beer choice, good staff. "

"Great location. Very friendly hotel staff. A lot we had to ask for as hadnt been replenished in the room. Overally a good stay"

"Great place to stop and eat. Great hosts who make you feel most welcome."

"We were upgraded to a superior suite. It was spacious, but it was tired and very basic. The bathroom was a good size, but the tile grout in the shower was very mouldy. The Murder mystery was really good and so was the meal that accompanied it. Good breakfast on both mornings."

"Needed somewhere central to stay and this place for the bill, clean and tidy, comfortable bed, recommended"

"An absolutely stunning little gem of a place. It’s as if a room from a very high end, boutique city hotel has been plucked out of a building and carefully placed down in beautiful, peaceful countryside. The decor is stylish and genuinely calming. The hosts have thought of everything - literally everything! I kept finding extras I didn’t expect to. Can’t praise this place enough!"

"Perfect location and property"

"Clean and spacious room, Beautifully decorated and kept. Fantastic breakfast included in the price."

"This place is a hidden gem ! A beautiful old hotel sympathetically modernised yet retaining its historic feel. The adjoining restaurant/bar served some truly wonderful dishes and all the staff were friendly, attentive and welcoming"
