Find Hotel with a Concierge in Hordaland County

We were welcomed by the staff who offered us refreshments while we checked in and then were walked to the lift. The room was beautiful and clean. If in this area again I will stay here again.

This property is a true gem. If you want mints on your pillow go somewhere else. If you want a very clean, very quiet, very functional retreat from the rat race this place is like a dream. I heartily recommend this property. It is delightfully quaint, yet you will have EVERYTHING you need for a lovely stay.

Really nice boutique hotel. We loved that it used to be a farm and it was full of so many sweet touches that made it unique. Loved the view of the valley from the property. Free parking was a bonus since we had the rental car, and we enjoyed the breakfast. This stay stands out from our trip because it was such a unique place. Highly recommended. Also we are birdwatchers and the surrounding gardens gave us an opportunity to add some species to our life lists!

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location...The room as large and very nice, the hotel is beautiful, location could not have been better...just steps from the fish market and shopping in the harbor...oh and do not miss the breakfast buffet -it's excellent!

Great location near the bryggen and the funicular. A single room is very simple (classic for Europe). No chair and no closet. It is what I expected. One thing could be improved. The "hot" shower was a "warm" shower. Avery nice breakfast with friendly staff. The only criticism was the "hot" tea water. It was warm tea water. Friendly helpful staff who speak English better than some people at home. It is an old but nicely remodeled and maintained.

We spent a pleasant 3 nights here. The hotel has a bright, quirky contemporary decor that might be hard to live with long term but is cheerfully uplifting for a short stay. The motion-detecting light that comes on every time you walk into the open plan bathroom is disconcerting, and not quite as good an idea in practice as it sounds in theory, at least when sharing a room. Perfect location, right by the Julemarkd and a short walk to the things I wanted to do. I was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. I would recommend the Hotel Norge highly and will stay there again.

Helpful front desk. People on the room above ours were very noisy. Upon complaining to the front desk they immediately provided a different room, problem solved. Great job. This clean and comfortable hotel was just what we needed for convenient homemade as we explored the beautiful Hardanger fjord and its islands. The friendly owners were extremely helpful and the amenities gave us all we needed to manage several days of laundry and meals. I highly recommend these accommodations!
