The room was very clean, staff were friendly and very helpful. Very convenient location to Gatwick airport. The Whitehouse made the airpot transfer easy and hassle free. Good place to stay overnight for an early flight.

The greeting at reception was friendly, I confirmed my car to Gatwick for the early morning. There was a delicious aroma of curry from the dining area. I asked if there was a hair dryer in my room, and was given one, straight away. Just enough time to wash and dry my hair, before sampling the curry!

Cheap room for our last night in England. We had a 3 single beds room: two were clean but one had stains on the sheets. Noisy at night. Appreciated the shuffle to get to the airport (5£ / person). Near a very nice restaurant Ye Olde Six Bells to end well a trip.

Quick overnight stay

Just a quick overnight for an early flight from Gatwick. More than convenient, easy transaction, small but nice room and the offer of airport parking which we were unaware of and had already booked. Building work currently, but didn't make any difference to us and several pubs etc a short walk away in Horley

It was difficult to rate this hotel given we had just returned from the Greek islands. We did note that the property is undertaking renovations. It is also a long way from the airport and we needed to get a cab. The staff were helpful and regularly in contact about our arrival times.

The customer service was not great. The man at the front desk was rude and gave the impression that he didn’t want to be there when I was asking questions. The overall cleanliness was also disappointing—the carpets were old, stained, and dirty. The towels provided were worn and old. Additionally, the television in our room was not working properly. The remote control wouldn’t function correctly, and when I informed the staff, they immediately said it did work. I called again to follow up, and they sent someone to check it. He told us they would have a new remote by the next day, which never happened. In the meantime, we were told to turn the TV off using the button on the back. This is clearly poor customer service, especially if they are unable to replace something as simple as a remote control. While the fee is not the highest, it’s also not cheap. It may be the more affordable option, but paying a bit more elsewhere would likely be well worth it.

Served a purpose

Stayed for 1 night before flight next day. I paid at the hotel, to be told i had to pay for my vehicle in the car park a sum of £12 . Nothing mention about this fee before hand. Average room but clean .
