"This property was perfect for our visit back to Alfred. It’s very close to the village but far enough away that nighttime was quiet and peaceful, and the architecture of the space is one of a kind. Peter was a great host and I’d highly recommend this for anyone visiting Alfred."

"I picked this place because it was in the zone of totality and I could watch the eclipse from the comfort of a hot tub instead of having to fight through traffic. Clouds unfortunately completely blocked the view but still had a great time. There were some minor maintenance issues like how the main bedroom door downstairs did not shut that should be fixed to improve other's experience but overall it was a lovely visit. "The property was priced correctly. The kitchen was nice and the furniture was comfortable. The water from the fausets smelled and you couldn't drink it. Drinking water and water for the coffee was supplied. The bathroom shower could use updating. The location was good. close to down town Naples and Bristol Mountain."

"The stay was wonderful! An extremely beautiful view, clean and serene space, and everything was provided for. Dave and his family were wonderful, and helped provide everything we could need. Even getting us out of the mud on the first night. Close to some of the best wineries and eats in the area, and a short drive to some very visually stunning parks beyond the lake itself. "Mary has a great set up. We loved being able to bring our dogs and let them run around and explore the property. It was the perfect weekend space to relax and unwind. My own complaint is the booking is listed as a “private and peaceful stay” however while we were there about 6 side-by-sides drove up the private driveway and hung out for 30-40 minutes at the top of the hill.
