"Beautiful and well maintained property. Check in and out were a breeze. Quiet place out in the country. Great escape from the city. House was clean but small. No ice maker, stove did not work, no pans provided, and no TV. Main sleeping quarters was upstairs via a ladder which was sketchy. We slept on the sofa on the main floor. "I stayed at the Lonely Oak with my two teenage children. I had a few questions before my arrival, and the staff were quick to respond and very helpful. The space is beautifully decorated, and in a very quiet part of the countryside. It is close enough to Llano if we needed something, but far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. "Cabin was clean and had many supplies. Be aware that the bathroom is not in the cabin but just a few steps away and is a private bath, did not impact our stay. Seems like it would be a good place to stay in warmer months when you could use the lake amenities. We chose the property because of its proximity to Stone House Vineyard, we were attending an event there and wanted to stay close by."

"We had a great stay here. Dinner was walking distance and had live music. We rented a boat at the marina and kids had a blast on the lake. Probably our favorite activity was fishing off docks (you can rent poles and worms from marina). My favorite part was sitting on the deck overlooking the lake. "The stay was great! The pictures were very accurate and I was able to plan accordingly. The owner was nice and quick to respond when I needed. If you have a larger party, I would recommend bringing extra trash bags, paper towels, and toilet paper because we ran out very quickly. Other than that, they had everything we needed for a fun stay!"
