"This was a great adventure, staying in a living treehouse, come wind, come rain, the cabin was rustic and cozy... rustic as there was a porta potty outhouse and outdoor wash sink. There was also a nice place for bonfires and hammocks for lounging. Sam made sure we had a heater for the cold weather and did a good job taking care of us. Most of the supplies we needed were found in the cabin which was really handy. We did some cooking over the fire and we didn’t think to pack the spray oil. The owner offered an option of indoor bathroom if desired. Breakfast was an additional service and we took her up on it. Sam is an excellent cook!! This is a place where me and my wife would visit again. Max was a great canine greeter, offering free kisses:) Charley was doing feline cat scans :). If you aren’t a dog or cat person, no worries, Sam checked with us before letting them roam. "

"We come to Jackson regularly to visit family and have stayed at other hotels in the area. This was our 1st stay here and we were very impressed. Clean, bright, updated, and a very welcoming staff. The staff warmly greeted and welcomed us every time we saw them, which stood out and sets this hotel apart from others. We will stay here again!"

"Trying to drive back to Canada from Milwaukee and couldn't make it so we found this lovely hotel off the highway. Very clean and safe with a few restaurants within walking distance. A very lovely spot!"

"The room was in disrepair, sink & shower faucet was loose & moving all around. Toilet tank cover was cracked, sheets had stains, pillows were extremely flat paint was chipping on the walls. Room reaked of cleaning solution and AC/ heat unit worked intermittently. However it looked cleaned up enough, no bugs, dirt or dust on floor & other surfaces. "

"This place was perfect for our women's retreat. It was very spacious, comfortable and clean. The pool was a hit with the ladies, also the hot tub was a perfect for those who just needed to relax. I would definitely recommend!"
