"Location fantastic staff very accommodating & very polite room was rather hot however the manager kindly changed our room to the ground floor which was perfect bear in mind there was a heatwave 25th 26th 27th June Bar prices very reasonable breakfast good plenty of options, coffee very good quality."

"The hotel needs urgent upgrades to the rooms. We upgraded to a sea view room with the manager being extremly helpful and quick. The room itself it is very outated and upgrading, however the view itself from the balcony was incredible. The cost of the pool/gym of £5 should be included in the price, especially as the facilities are also very outated. The check-in of 3 pm is very late - but this seems to be the same in all hotels in the area. Overall the experience was pleasant, but not worth almost £300/night."

"Pool closed, any food you had to get from sister hotel. Tried to get ice for my drink I had but at 22:20 was told bar closed so said just need ice but apparently no ice and was advised to go to sister hotel! Hotel currently undergoing renovation I believe and our room was in nice condition and bed comfortable and for what you can pay ( only paid £42 for 1 night) and had a double room with part sea view I think it’s definitely worth the money. Would consider staying again but if you can afford more then worth staying at sister hotel The Carlton as pool and restaurant open."
