Great hotel for family stay

Clean and comfortable, the bed was top tier. Breakfast was fantastic and worth the additional cost. Free parking available but the spaces are extremely tight so you can’t get out of your vehicle, but I was able to park on the other side of the parking lot and paid 2CHF for 15 hours.

Room was well maintained, breakfast spread was extensive, and the staff were top notch in terms of friendliness. Bus stop right next to the hotel makes for easy transportation to/from downtown Lucerne. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent hotel for Lucerne. This property is just outside of town, but very convenient for everything. It is on bus line #21 which delivers you to the downtown train/bus/boat station in just twenty minutes. Also just ten minutes to the Mt. Pilatus cable car in the opposite direction. Staff was great, very clean. Rooms have mini-fridges, very nice showers, and comfortable beds. There is an on-site restaurant that provided the best meals we had during our two week stay in Switzerland. Lucerne is very convenient for travel throughout the country (with a Swiss Travel Pass) and this property was perfect for it.

Great hotel new Lucerne with one of the best breakfasts we ever ate at the hotel. It has a perfect location, easy access to everything by bus, and a very convenient parking lot. We would love to stay there again.

Enjoyed the stay quite a bit. Visited in mid-June. Liked that the room was near but not in Lucerne, which offered an attractive room rate compared to Inns on the lake / downtown. Very easy access to downtown via a (free/included) shuttle stop right outside the hotel. I was able to park my rental car on site for free. The rooms were very nice and clean, had good A/C, and a refrigerator. Didn't try the onsite restaurant but it appeared popular for both guests and locals. No real negatives. Would stay there again, for sure, if not electing to secure a place right downtown.

Very quiet area with bus stop right out front and free bus pass around Lucerne. Friendly staff and was great that they held our luggage after checkout while we went to Stanserhorn.

Great Felmis

A wonderful Hotel, close to Luzern, but at countryside. Great breakfast, friendly service, good quite hard beds, easy access, car parking, free bus tickets. Lovely walking paths close by. Easy to go to Mt Pilates. Just great!

We really like the hotel. The room was good size and spacious. The staff was very friendly and cooperative. We asked for a kettle and few other things and they were very good with providing it. The breakfast area was very lovely and outdoor seating was nice. Biggest plus was having a parking lot right next to the hotel.

Our stay at the Hotel Felmis was a very pleasant experience. It had all the qualities we expected of a modern hotel, and was perfectly located far enough away from the main attractions to not be affected by heavy traffic. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. I sadly cannot remember his name, but he speaks English well and made sure we had no unanswered questions. I hope to visit again in the future.

Comfortable rooms with great AC. Rooms came with free bus pass to Lucerne which was extremely helpful. Only issue we had was smoking/vaping in the restaurant. It was bad enough we had to go elsewhere to eat.

Though it is not located in the center of the main tourist sites, it is not far away from it. If you drive, it only takes 10 mins to get you to the heart of Lucerne. Plenty of free carparking lots are provided. Good scenic view as well.
