About this property

Two bedroom cabin, private lake, pet friendly

  • Our Antler cabin design is influenced by all of the deer, elk, and buffalo in the area. This is a 700 square foot cabin with two bedrooms both with a queen sized bed, a living area with a full size couch for extra guests, kitchen table, and full kitchen and bathroom. This cabin has a nice porch area with beautiful views of the lake. There are five patio chairs, a patio table, and grill on the porch. There are games and books to help you relax after a busy day exploring. There is no cable, and no TV but we do get great cell coverage. Maximum guests six people.

    This cabin has a lake on site for your use. There is also a store on site where you can rent kayaks, canoes, paddle boats, and purchase any items you may have forgot. You can also purchase a license for catch and release fishing.

    Less than 2 minutes up the road is Cold Brook Reservoir where you can enjoy more lake time and lake activities.

    Our cabin is conveniently located just minutes from Hot Springs. In the town of Hot Springs you can enjoy restaurants, shopping, and many attractions including Evans Plunge Mineral Spring, Moccasin Springs Mineral Spa, The Mammoth Site, Pioneer Museum, World Fossil Finder Museum and much more.

    This cabin is also located 10 minutes from Wind Cave National Park and 15 minutes from Custer State Park. Both parks boast a multitude of hiking trails and outdoor activities and Wind Cave provides cave tours. The town of Custer is 45 minutes away and Mount Rushmore National Monument is an hour and forty-five minutes away.

    If you are looking for rest, relaxation, disconnecting and spending time outdoors this cabin is perfect for you!

    There is plenty to do in and around the Hot Springs area. We are minutes away from many local attractions and an hour away from some of the most notable South Dakota attractions.

Just right

We had a wonderful stay. The house was just what we needed. The property was quiet and tucked away. The lake provided a beautiful backdrop and I was able to walk the dogs on the tra lake every morning . We cooked meals and sat on our deck enjoying the sunshine. Not a far drive from many places we wanted to visit while on our vacation.

Perfect Summer vacation spot

Enjoyed every part of our stay, even with two teenage boys there was plenty to keep busy. The lake was clean and the boat rental was fun. Cabin was clean, well maintained and had everything we needed, and wanted. 14/10 would recommend!

Great place to relax

There were so many comfy places to sit outside, and a path around the large pond that our dog loved too. What we needed though, were the two rocking recliners side by side where we could relax, read our books, and enjoy a quiet anniversary together. It was lovely, peaceful, and relaxing.
