"24-hour reception, safe, but no soundproof walls so you can constantly hear noise including in the evening, a baby shouting all day and night too, they might live there, very dusty room, spider webs and spiders sometimes in room 31, toilet could be cleaner and staff is okay. The director and the lady during the day were kind, but night staff very unpleasant. Housekeeping was proactive. Not everyone speaks English. Distant location, but you can find a couple of restaurants in the evening and a grocery shop during the day."

"Absolutely beautiful place. The architecture is stunning, the atmosphere is peaceful and classy, and the entire property has a very unique feel. The rooms and amenities are great, with plenty to enjoy—from the lake and boats to the restaurants and beautiful outdoor spaces. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful, and I really appreciated that almost everyone spoke very good English. It’s a great place to relax, enjoy good food, meet people, and take amazing photos. If you’re staying in Paris and want to escape the city for a day or a weekend, the Abbaye des Vaux de Cernay is only about 45 minutes to an hour outside Paris and absolutely worth the trip. Definitely a must-visit, and I would absolutely go back!"

"This is a really comfortable hotel in a very convenient location, right on the edge of town close to major roads and not too far from the station. The hotel is immaculately clean and the staff are very friendly. The food is also good and reasonably priced. We stayed 3 nights and the ONLY downside for us was that on the second and third mornings there was no milk available at breakfast for cereal and tea. Our request was met with a mild apology and shrug. We mentioned this to the manager and suggested that perhaps someone could go and fetch some for the following day from the huge supermarket a couple of hundred metres away and he said this wasn’t possible, so there was no milk the following morning either!! This was such a weird situation, and if this hadn’t happened we would have given the hotel an overwhelmingly positive review. Special mention for the young lady serving dinner on the evenings we were there-she was lovely!"
