"The outside of the hotel needs some attention. The broken concrete step outside is still in need of repair, just like a year ago when we were there. shrubs etc need trimming. Hotel was very quiet, clean, decent breakfast, delicious coffee"

"It was very clean and cozy. The weather was still cold to catch any fish so we stayed in more than planned. Located in a convenient spot. Close to restaurants and party store. Just over an hour to Traverse city. Not too far for groceries. Only could stay 3 nights. Communication from owners A. My husband made a good choice for our short getaway. Close to the lake and a marina. I would go back here. "

"The pool and hot tub area are updated and beautiful. It looks great. Breakfast area was clean and a good variety. Rooms were clean but very outdated bathrooms shower and bathtub were old and needed a lot of TLC. The entrance way to our room was in bad shape as well. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay there again."
