"My family and I just returned from an absolutely wonderful stay at Ferme de Pontaly! Cécile and Alexandre are fantastic hosts - always available to answer all of your questions and making sure you are always comfortable. We live in a busy suburb of Washington DC and it was nice to get away and relax in the French countryside. We enjoyed waking up every morning to the sound of chickens and horses. "The apartment was pretty much as we expected. It was in a wonderful location with a bakery across the road and a cheese shop, fish monger, and charcuterie all on the same block. It was a 15 minute walk from the Norte Dame area of the Seine and nestled among numerous stops on the Metro. We had a two room apartment for a family of five with two (mostly grown) kids on the pullout sofa and another on a camp bed. The sofa bed was very hard and the pillows were thin.
