"Das Haus wurde nach Absprache mit dem Vermieter vorher gelüftet und gesäubert - zu unserer Ankunft war alles perfekt. Das Grundstück war frisch gemäht, ist riesig und hat sehr schöne Bäume. Zudem ist die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter sehr gut, es wird sofort reagiert, wenn es um den Ersatz einer neuen Gasflasche, eines Grills oder um andere Probleme geht. Der Strand, Plage du Pin Sec ist weitläufig und auch in der Hauptferienzeit nicht überlaufen."

Der Weg zum Strand großteils schattig und abseits der Straße. Täglich Markt in Vensac, so dass wir uns mit den allerbesten Lebensmitteln eindecken konnten. Surfkurse, Radverlei, sehr gute Restaurants. Danke auch an Cécile für einen insgesamt perfekten Aufenthalt."

"This is a very special place in which the owners have invested a lot of care and attention. It is beautifully decorated and furnished and has everything you need. The decking, outside eating area, hammock and pool are all fantastic. Tennis courts across the road. We enjoyed cycling to the beach every day (4k) with our 3 children, we also enjoyed the cafe at the end of the road. The local spar shop is very well stocked. The owner Nicolas is very friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great holiday."

"We have just returned from a wonderful week in Lacanau. The villa is so well equipped, it really does have everything you need. It is clean and the beds are comfy. The pool is fantastic and the view of the lake wonderful. The villa is in a quiet, peaceful neighbourhood. The lake is down quite a long, steep hill from the villa - you may need to drive if you have lots of little children or kit. Cycling is so easy, you have to go down the hill and through to Le Moutchic to access the main cycle...

"Fabulous fisherman's cabin, just the place if you want to get away from noise and people. Was wonderful to sit on the front decking listening to the water, seabirds and nightingales Cabin fantastically well equipped for both cooking and eating. "Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans un très bel hébergement meublé et équipé avec soin. Idéal pour les vacances d'été, avec une piscine et l'océan Atlantique au coin de la rue. L'environnement est magnifique, les commerces variés. Le marché de Soulac-sur-Mer (Marché municipal) est fortement recommandé. Les plages sont spacieuses et peu fréquentées. Rien ne s'oppose à un voyage à Bordeaux. Nous reviendrons sûrement. La communication avec nos hôtes était très amicale, simple et toujours...

"With 7 members of the party keen to surf every day, this was an ideal location - 10 mins drive from Gurp beach (with a small parade of cafes and restaurants just beyond the campsite). It was also within easy reach (20-30 mins)of the pretty seaside resort of Soulac , supermarkets, petrol stations, local vineyards (with walk-in free tastings) and open markets as well as the bigger surf resort of Hourtin plage (and lake). The beach chalet itself was well equipped (once the broken oven was replaced)...

"Check in was simple via a key press. The owner spoke a little English which helped. Had to purchase magic sponges to clean the pool to prevent yellow line build up! Local shop within walking distance had everyday things handy. Bit too far to walk to the beach through the woods which meant cycling or the car. Overall very nice place."
