"I stayed at this run-down motel in the Poconos where the experience fell far short of expectations. The bathtub was dirty, which made the bathroom feel unclean and uncomfortable. The receptionist at the front desk assisted us while wearing a bathrobe and pajamas, which came across as unprofessional for a hotel check-in setting. During check-in, she claimed there was no reservation under our name, but when I mentioned I would call Expedia and showed her the email receipt on my phone, she miraculously found it. To top it off, there was no hot water, forcing us to take cold showers and deal with the disruption to our plans and comfort."

"I stayed at The Swiftwater, and unfortunately, it wasn’t family-friendly as we expected. Kids had to leave the pool after 5 p.m., but this wasn’t mentioned on the website. Beyond that, customer service was lacking. Staff rarely smiled or engaged with us, and when we went to the bar after last call, there was no effort to accommodate even a simple request. While the property itself is beautiful and new, the hospitality was disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend it for families, and I think management needs to make major changes in staffing and approach."

"Breakfast was fine. I stayed 2 nights so I assumed my towels would be replenished and trash changed after the 1st night and even left a tip yet when I returned the next day it was not done and i ended up going to the front desk for towels to shower the next morning. I still left a tip upon departure and stripped and piled the linen to make things easier and was sure all trash was bagged "

This was a much-needed girls’ trip, and it was perfect—everyone had their own space while still enjoying the large, open, and bright common areas.The fireplace added a warm, cozy touch, even with the home’s spacious layout. The décor was beautiful, with thoughtful details and plenty of comfortable seating throughout.We also loved the coffee setup—having a Keurig, French press, and Nespresso was such a great touch for our mornings. The host was very accommodating and communicated clearly and promptly.The backyard felt private and peaceful, the deck was huge, and the hot tub was clean and relaxing.We would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
