Quite neighborhood, large lots and tall trees. Walk/bike in the neighborhood and on Bayou trails. Close to Galleria, Downtown, Museum district, Zoo, sports and concert venues.

Two blocks from 610, & 290 and easy access to I-10. 20 mile Bayou Hike & Bike Trail at the end of the street. Connects to various parks, golf course and picnic areas.

Zero privacy
The owner has a zero guest policy, typically I would not be against this, but he is really aggressive. I am disabled and he complained about my delivery drop off, wanting no one to park in driveway including delivery driver; making tension very difficult. There is zero privacy and cameras throughout the entire property. I typically wouldn’t be against this either; started to notice the owner is a peeping Tom and went out of his way to stare making me feel uncomfortable. I placed curtains up where I could have a little privacy, not be seen while dressing from upstairs balcony. The owner told me this was unacceptable and to remove curtains that aren’t hurting anyone. The upstairs unit bed is positioned directly by the balcony entrance door; making visibility into the upstairs bedroom not completely private. The owner has issues with wanting to see everything your doing at all times, which has made my stay uncomfortable. I feel being told putting up curtains for additional privacy in unacceptable, but the male owner Saish made sure to verbally say this and not send in text or email.

Peaceful safe and comfortable
The title says it all. I felt safe and had wonderful concern hosts. I do have some concerns with cleanliness with pictures. I did a lot of cleaning of door frames, light switches, handles, sheets/towels dingy and with stains. I washed the linen/ towels not what I expected but seeks infection control

I ended up leaving and going to a hotel. Neither VRBO nor the host will take responsibility.
Night one: I arrived at 10PM. I hadn't received access codes, so I called Sai and left a message. He didn't answer or return my calls. I had to call VRBO and have them call him to let me in. By the time I got in my room, it was almost 11 PM. The neighbors were partying, which I assumed would stop at some point before dawn. I was wrong. I called the police on a noise complaint, but they never showed up. If the loud music wasn't enough, the lady that lives above the rental STOMPS all night long. All. Night. Until 6 AM. I messaged Sai several times and his response was "it's a single lady who lives there." I finally got an hour of sleep before I had to get up and go to work. Night two: assuming everyone had partied themselves out the night before, I settled in for a good night's sleep. Again, I assumed wrong. The music and stomping started up again at 10:30. I finally left at 1:30 AM and went to a hotel so I could get a few hours sleep before driving home. I called and messaged Sai several times during the evening, but his phone was off, his voicemail had been deactivated, and he never answered my messages. I called VRBO and told them what happened, and they said it's up to the host to deal with it. So I'm out $200 for the stay at the VRBO plus a hotel bill.

Wonderful, 2 month stay!
I had a wonderful experience. The property was exactly how it was described in photos, and the host was extremely kind and responsive. The security was exactly how it was described and the apartment is secluded from the road. My only con of the experience is the washer dryer, which is outdoors and a bit dated. Overall, a very good, 2-month long experience.
