"Ansicht ist das Hotel in Ordnung und der Gastgeber war freundlich genug. Allerdings ist die Rezeption sehr limitiert geöffnet ohne eine Option einer Art 'Remote Check-In' zu haben. Weiterhin ist WLAN-Access ein bisschen umständlich. Der gegebene Grund dafür war 'zur Sicherheit der Gäste'. Viele Hotels können diesen Grund auch angeben, jedoch ist WLAN-Access nicht so umständlich. Des Weiteren war Bettwäsche nur auf einer Hälfte des Doppelbetts im Hotelzimmer. "It was an overall great experience, very friendly staff, comfortable abd charming room, quite spacious, with everything in it to feel at home after a long travel; nice home-made dinner and a variety for breakfast. Picturesque surrounding, a walking distance to Arcen where there is a lot to see and experience. Very recommendable!"

"My wife and I had a wonderful 1-night stay at Hotel Burg Wassenberg. We felt very welcomed by the wonderful staff, from personally showing us to our room to the restaurant staff going out of their way to ensure my wife had one more schnitzel before leaving Germany. All-in-all, it was a memorable moment on our vacation, after a series of forgettable budget hotels. And the historical town of Wassenberg is worth a visit, even though it’s off the beaten path.
