Good location, needs a tidy up
We booked for a girls trip to celebrate a 50th birthday for the weekend. The location of the property was excellent and only a 20 min walk to the pier. A good range of food and shops a couple of mins down the road. The flat itself could do with a good clean and general maintenance. There was a curtain rail waiting to be put up on the table. Despite knowing they’d be four guests there was no pillow cases, sheet or duvet for the sofa bed. There was only 3 mugs and glasses available to use. The bedroom ceiling looks like it has had a leek previously and needed to be treated then repainted. The garden/court yard was awful with overgrown weeds and random bits of wood fallen from the pergola plus broken garden chairs. Luckily we were only using the flat as a base to sleep. I wouldn’t want to have stayed longer than a couple of nights and certainly wouldn’t bring my family there. With some love and care it could be a lovely flat as it is spacious but just lacked what I’d expect as a rental.
