I'd stayed here previously, in pre Covid times. It is a spotlessly clean and had changed little from my previous visit. On arrival I was greeted warmly by new manager Bacit and shown to my cosy room. My one night stay was perfect for my intended purpose and I woul;d definitely return.

The new management are extraordinarily help and customer focused. I have stayed at Langfords before, very good value. Shall certainly be bsck next visit to Brighton and Hove

DONT BOOK HERE! Had to move rooms 3 times (first for a leak, second time out of a room needing final snagging after redecorating). In all 3 rooms carpets rumpled and stained, furniture chipped, knobs missing, drawers/doors jammed, windows locked/painted shut on a hot night, bathroom only basically clean and no shower worked properly (gobbet of dried snot on tiles inside last cubicle), and not enough soap/towels/bedside lights. Reception regularly left unmanned, room keys left in basket on reception desk for anyone to wander in, open any occupied room and help themselves to any guest's stuff. Parking was not available despite the advert saying it was. UNSAFE: Final morning found us locked into hotel at 840am; rang reception (nobody at desk) and told to unlock the place ourselves using key in open basket on reception desk. Checkout required the guy painting the entranceway ceiling to come down off his kitchen chair (!), explain all the staff were 'gone', take our room-key and drop it in the basket himself. All this in two days. The staff did what they could in a hotel that needs several million spent to either bring it up to even basic standard, or to convert it back into residential housing.

This was a good priced hotel in a nice area and the reception people were very helpful but the facilities are in need of a complete renovation/refurbishment, couldn’t even bring myself to use the shower as it was awful! 😢 also the parking facilities are not FOC and should definitely be explain in more detail. We expected a much better standard from an Expedia hotel!? The only good thing was the bed was clean and comfortable and they did have coffee facilities…

The bathroom is very very small, the room was massive though, Definitely the bathroom room needs to be bigger, also mind the setup in the bathroom It's Victorian room, The price was reasonable Parking is not free outside during day time until 8pm 9am-8pm , on the website said it was free parking Bed was comfortable Pillows right size for me

This hotel wasn't even open, as refurbished since being a migrant hotel. My booking went through when they tested the system. Instead of cancelling me, they went ahead & allowed my stay. Ravi & Baset couldn't have been more helpful. Nothing was any trouble despite them still finishing the refurb. Everything was clean, carpets had been washed & everywhere fresh paint. The bed was so comfortable and it was quiet, despite being bank holiday weekend. The area of Hove is nice & not boring & it's easy to walk in to Brighton. I will be returning as a regular to this hotel. Thanks Baset & Ravi

Absolutely shocking!
The room we were given smelt of cigarette / tobacco smoke. Absolutely shocking customer service, not prepared to issue a refund or another room. The language used totally unacceptable, would not recommend to anyone to stay at this place.
