"We were in town visiting friends 10 miles away. It was the perfect location. The cabin is well stocked, organized and wonderfully located. Our first night we had our trailer and truck. The parking area fit them well. Our host had a lot of thoughtful necessities available in the cabin. We will book again when we travel to the area. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Whiskey bear. The cabin was perfect! Gorgeous and pristine! Very clean!!! We enjoyed having the ATV trails basically in our backyard. We loved everything about our stay! We would recommend this cabin again and again, and we plan on booking here in the future. Also, our daughter left her Apple Watch and the owners reached out to us and actually had it shipped back to us in Texas! I don’t know a lot of people who would have done that! If you’re on the fence… just book it! "

"Such a beautiful cabin! Clean and set up so comfortably, I felt so relaxed and at home as soon as we stepped in the door. We couldn’t find the hairdryer, but otherwise all of the basic necessities were provided, and I was impressed by the abundance of extra pillows and blankets and that the tv was hooked up to cable. We were in town for an event, so we didn’t spend much time at the house, but I wish we had planned to stay longer and enjoy the beautiful location and outdoor amenities. Definitely make time to use the fire pit if you can! I personally feel they went above and beyond to prepare the cabin and I highly recommend!"

"For me this was heaven on earth. The peace, the view, trains, cows bellowing, roosters crowing, watching three baby goats take steps in their first days, along with enjoying lovely hosts David and Clara. If one notes there is no stove, there is an electric 2-burner hot plate and an electric fry pan. When eggs are available you won't find better (nor the local Braum milk). Sunrise on the porch with coffee or tea and all the morning sounds of the earth waking is just the best. Thank you David and Clara for making this available. "

"My wife and I absolutely loved the cabin. It had everything we needed. The view was AMAZING!!! We stayed 7nights and didn’t want to leave! All my family is from down there and this trip was to bring my wife down to meet everyone and show her around my home town! We can’t wait to come back and this beautiful little cabin is definitely on our list to stay at again!!!!"

"The man working counter was very nice, but this morning when I told the women I left hairdryer in room she was a very perturbed that I bothered her. I was trying to be kind and she was very cranky, there was not a hairdryer in the room and the maintence guy brought one up that attached to the wall. I asked that it be reattached till after we left. She was very rude that I even bothered her but I did not want to be charged for pulling it off the wall which I did not do. People in the hospitality business are supposed to be kind not bothered to talk to a guest."
